What's the likelihood that Porter will unify with Spence next?

Or will he fight a layup opponent next and enjoy his new belt for a bit at least?

If I was Porter, I would fight a softer opponent next. As a Porter fan such as myself, I wouldn't want him to fight Spence right away. It took Porter like 3-4 years to get this belt and become world champ again. I say...fight a soft opponent or two and then fight Spence next year for sure. At least enjoy owning that belt for a bit.

Spence will probably take on Ugas first.

At least you're honest. I can see Porter being down to unify in a big money fight right away, he can't win I don't feel but Porter don't back down to nobody.

I agree . I think that with the warrior spirit in Porter that we could have an unification fight with Spence next. It's very possible.

On another note, I always had a feeling if it was Garcia winning the WBC, it would've been harder to make a unification fight.

Well he didn't have the best of luck the last time he unified, and I don't think Danny could make it near as close against Spence as he did with Thurman or Porter.

He should take a winnable fight before fighting Spence, someone like Jessie Vargas would be a fight I would fancy him too win and is a credible opponent

I think he should fight Khan and make some serious bank, then fight Spence and make some serious bank. Then retire.

Vargas is too much work for Garcia I think. He'll probably fight the loser of Ortiz/Molina lol.

Isn't Ugas the WBC mandatory to Porter though?
