rjj had some dude named richards in front of him and played with him and bored me to death. but bhop keeping the middle weight belt was described as watching someone swim laps. and by god he was!! i don't recall the names of the fighters but on fnf there were a couple of guys who just didn't engage each other, jab-hold, jab-hold we've all seen this. but the camera crew caught them giving each other a wink and nod between rounds!! worst fight ever.

Casamayor vs. Santa Cruz was one of the worst. I deleted it from my DVR after like 4 rounds, but I wish I would have kept it just to analyze how Casamayor could have possibly got the decision.

    Taylor/Spinks was BAAAAAD too.

Ruiz/Holyfield Trilogy or Quadrilogy or whatever it was... Time stopped during those fights, in hindsight it seems like they must have fought like 12 times or something.

I think most of you guys are too young to remember the "classics" (sarcasm intended) of the heavweights of the 80s.

    Page vs Tubbs
    Witherspoon vs Page
Holmes vs Rodriques (I think it was Rodriquez, the guy from Spain. Holmes fought him in Easton, PA, Larry's home town and the fans booed the **** out of him, him being Larry)

I personally think that these boring heavyweight fights were the cause of the cocaine epidemic of the 80s as they bored us to new, unknown levels dullness, which we desperately searched for an antidote.
