For me, it's a recent one...Pacquiao vs Cotto...90% of the people in the bar I was in were rooting for Cotto...the rest of us were in our own little corner. I was the only black guy with a few Filipinos. I was hoarse for a day or two after that fight...in the 4th, when Pac knocked Cotto down, and Lampley uttered those iconic words; "AND GOES DOWN AGAIN!" My head almost exploded with how hyped I was, jumping around like I won the lotto...

    KLITSCHKO VS SOSNOWSKI.

Just kidding. I was having more fun cutting my eyes out while I was watching it.

Umm. It was not live but I got pretty exited watching Hamed vs Kelly.

As far as live fights go it has to be Haye vs Valuev. Really! The fight was utter **** but it was just the idea of having a British champion.

Froch vs Pascal was bloody good too.

    Mayweather/Hatton

Took shrooms, rewatched all 24/7s again, had 20+ people over to watch the fight(most rooting for Hatton), Had $200 on Floyd.

    Tzsyu-Judah
Couldn't stand the diva Judah or Kellerman's gross man love for him. And Tzsyu was one of my favorites at the time.
Plus it happened (let me preface this by saying I'm from Arkansas, it's relevant) just a few minutes after Arkansas' 7-OT win over Ole Miss, and I mean like, two minutes later. So I was already on a high when I flipped over to Showtime, and then BANG!! Chicken dance.

Nigel Benn v Gerald McClennan. The most incredible fight with the saddest ending. I watched that fight standing up, I couldn't sit down with the excitement. History shows if McClennan had his hands wrapped correctly (he has no trainer in his corner after a bust up with Manny Stewart) then Benn would never have gotten up from the 1st round barrage.

The sight of McClennan breathing through his gumshield will never leave me. Why the fight wasn't stopped there and then I will never know. When a fighter is pushing out his gumshield because he can't get enough air into his lungs he is clearly a fighter in terrible distress..

Ward vs Augustus, Tua vs Ibeabuchi, and Corrales vs Castillo 1 are the only 3 fights I remember actually jumping out my seat while watching.

Nigel Benn-Michael Watson was a classic and full of drama. I sometimes wonder why that fight doesn't get the same retrospect as the other British supermid wars.

I remember watching that fight live in the early hours. The thing is before the fight everyone was like 'this is the face time pacquiao is going to taste real WW power'. Seriously no one knew how he would be able to walk through and even goad cotto's power in the fight. Added to this the first few rounds cotto was really giving it to pac, but then out of nowwhere that KD in the fourth and cotto's legs going jiggly. It was almost surreal watching pacquiao walking cotto down and beating the living hell out of him round after round.

I was pretty excited for Cotto vs. Margarito.

Cotto was landing bombs, and Margarito's head looked like a speedbag. Yet, Margarito was gaining momentum and putting pressure on Cotto like no one had ever done before. Great fight.
