Late, unexpected knockouts always give me a surge of adrenaline (like Froch-Taylor, Casamayor-Katsidis, and Mosley-Mayorga) but it's the slow-burners that I like best. Cornelius Lock vs. Roger Gonzalez, Tomas Villa vs. Rogers Mtagwa, Yonnhy Perez vs. Joseph Agbeko, Sergio Martinez vs. Paul Williams...

I've never been more excited while watching live boxing than during the Vazquez-Marquez trilogy (and that's trilogy).

Mine was the Caballero vs. Yordan fight. It was the first time I actually knew the figher very well. it is bizarre watching your friend fight on HBO when the week before you were playing ping pong with him in the back yard. it definitely adds a new element to watching a fight. we had about a dozen people from panama over watching the fight and people were going crazy with every punch.

    Tyson-Holyfield 1 and 2.

...also, Pac-DLH especially after Manny started putting on the beatdown.

The 12th round knockdown in the Toney - Jirov fight... and the 12th round last second KO in the Briggs - Liakhovich fight which I was there live to see.

    May Hatton or Pac Hatton.
May Hatton cuz they were both undefeated although watching the fight itself at the beginning was frustrating cuz of all the wrestling. I was yelling all 10th round cuz i was getting excited though. I could smell KO coming from the TV.
I liked Pac Hatton cuz I love Pac against anyone except May. But it was the first fight i paid for that someone actually got KTFO. I jumped up right when the left touched hattons chin and was yelling "HE'S DEAD! OMG HE ****IN KILLED HIM!!!" lol

Mayweather-Mosley because I was there and got to experience the whole Vegas weekend scene for a big fight.

Otherwise, recently I was really excited for Pac/Cotto and back a few years, Holyfield/Tyson I.

I hope the replies in threads like this are a good sign for boxing. It appears there are a lot of brand new boxing fans, as about 80 percent of the answers here are from recent fights. I would encourage you to watch old fights and learn some of the history to this great sport. There's nothing like it.

    Tito-Vargas/Joppy/Mayorga

In the Joppy fight I was watching it in a chinchorro here in PR (like a ghetto bar) and when Joppy went down I sarted jumping and I accidentally stepped on a Heineken bottle and I twisted my ankle but I didn't give a shet I kept jumping with one foot.

For the Vargas fight I was on my way to the chinchorro and my car broke down I thought I was not going to make it in time so I left my car there and ran like 3 miles to the place where they were showing the fight when I got there I was sweating like a hostage but I made it in my time. Ahh the good ol days.

The posts here are reminding of so many great fights, so many exciting moments over the past few years. I'm perhaps a little older than most of the posters. For me: 1. You could hardly find a fight with more thrills per second than Hagler/Hearns. 2. The greatest unrelenting action, courage, bravery, and skill was Arguello/Pryor I. And when I really lost it, watching with a crowd on closed circuit, was the Rumble in the Jungle, round five, after Ali had been lying on the ropes being pounded by wrecking ball after wrecking ball of Foreman's punches to his body, to see him suddenly jump off the ropes and pepper Foreman with a barrage of punches that had Foreman inconceivably reeling around the ring, I heard someone scream: "Kill him!" and only realized moments later that it had been me.
