Two of the best shouts ever in one great shout - Pernell was just totally old school and he really made a ****** out of Chavez, and Robbie well probably the best fighter ever on his best night against his best opponent - can't really get any better than that

    Hearns vs Cuevas.

I mean Pipino was a decorated fighter who had heart and skill. But he couldnt get a leak of Tommy Hearns.

    Just remembered

Fighting Harada vs Pone Kingpetch I

Harada was 19 (I think) and pretty unknown and many fans were annoyed at Kingpetch for taking such an easy fight. As we all know Kingpetch was a excellant fighter, although can be a little overrated, but he was coming off wins over Pascual Perez.
In the actual bout Harada just swarmed his way in Kingpetch and stayed on him the whole fight, forcing a corner retirement. Absoloutly fantastic performance and there was no way Kingpetch won even a round.

    turpin-robinson.
the shameful british radio commentator gave the impression robinson was winning because he was expecting the licker to get knocked out.it didn't happen that way though.turpin out boxed, out punched and out muscled the great sugar man.
turpin would have given any version of robbie a difficult night.

    turpin for king i say

Joe Calzaghe v Jeff Lacy - at the time Lacy was favoured and Calzaghe won every second of every round.
Kirkland Laing beating Duran - not sure anyone really expected that one.
Good shouts on Turpin v Robbie 1 & Honeyghan v Curry.

True. I think it's funny that so little noise is made about what an up-hill battle Schmeling faced, considering it's so popular to do so concerning other fights.

I'm watching Pavlik-Hopkins right now, and Hopkin's perfomance is really something. A clinic if there ever was one.

Other fights where a great opponent was made look average or even below average:

    Foreman-Frazier

    Whitaker-Chavez

    Leonard-Benitez

    Ali-Liston

    Jones-Toney
