What you mentioned to me once about Ottke having loaded gloves against Mundine. I don't know if it's true but Sven couldn't break the skin off a rice custard. Mundines chin wasn't great but at that stage of his career it certainly wasn't the worst.

Basically, Juan had a contract with the Sasson jeans brand where he (and Larry Holmes) wore the Sasson logo on their trunks. After that ride, he says he had to quit the contract. My guess is King threatened him if he did not give King the profits from the Sasson deal? Also, he performed badly in the next four fights. Maybe he was just trying to lose on purpose to get out of the grasp of King, he got a very unpopular decision win vs Johnny De La Rosa and lost to the highly unheralded, 19 loss Gerald Hayes in a non title bout before getting run over by Wilfredo Gomez. Gomez i see beating LaPorte but De La Rosa and specially Hayes? hmnn..

I should add that he has said online that car ride on that limo was very haunting to him.

Delahoya took a dive v Hopkins. Maybe the Hopkins team offered Oscar a bar of gold bullion shaped into a rolling pin.

Do a search for Harold Smith, Wells Fargo Bank and the "This Is It' Boxing card.

The lineup was supposed to be Cooney vs. Norton, Matthew Saad Muhammad vs. Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Thomas Hearns vs. Wilfred Benitez, and Wilfredo Gomez vs. Mike Ayala, but the promoter skipped town only days before the show. Turned out he got the money by stealing it from a bank.

Here's a link to a Sports Illustrated article.

This one is not even a conspiracy, i felt they had Arum full cooperation on that kind of like when he also signed Horn for a few fight deals at the same time conveniently,

Oh btw just saw that Tony Harrison interview with Ben Damon where he was un shaming over propelling Horn about his big victory over Pacquiao.

I would agree if Pac wasnt w TR. Arum robbed Pac in Bradley 1 and indirectly admitted it. Arum was indeed a hyper crooked POS. Come to think of it how tf is he still alive

And that's coming from Wilder who said he wanted to take a body.

Here's to hoping Wilder 4 happens and Deontay can offer hisself up

I think Aaron Pryor-Saoul Mamby was also included in the card, That would have been one of the all time great cards! But one mystery is, with all those fights on it how the hell was Cooney-Norton going to be the main event?????

My conspiracy theory is that if Tupacs murder was orchestrated that Seldon's dove was part of the cointelpro moves that night.

I guess im just pissed that if Seldon didnt dive that whole butterfly effect would play out differently and the guy wouldnt get shot up that night.

First they robbed Sturm to set up bhop vs Oscar and then he dived and Hopkins signed to golden boy after....

Other conspiracy theory I have is that JCC used loaded gloves. His opponents faces often opened up in a weird way.
I also accuse Alex Steward of loading his gloves vs George Foreman. Look at his face!

Another loaded gloves conspirscy is duran in montreal.
Why you think they called him manos de piedra? And look who is in his corner that night?
Leonard said he was never in so much pain from punches and you cant think that scumbag would pull tricks like that with luis resto but not with Duran.

Panama Lewis was also in his corner when he fought Davy moore and gave him a bad beating. Same night and card of the resto collins fight

They robbed Sturm for sure, that whole saga stinks. You make a very good argument with Duran. I hadn't thought about Chavez. I do remember how swollen Foremans face w as against Stewart. Pretty sure I still got the KO or Ring mag that had Foremans post fight face on the cover.
