Cerdan vs. LaMotta was fixed. Cerdan was to win the rematch and a third fair fight would have taken place.
Bob Arum is behind the theft of Pac vs Bradley I
Canelo vs Kovalev was fixed. Kovalev was entitled to a well-paid DAZN deal...only if he lost.
Obviously the fights between Ali and Liston are rigged.

I felt like Bob Arum cashed out on pac twice. First with bradley and after that with Horn.
    Pac clearly won both fights.

Floyd mayweather bougt of usada, had positive drug tests swept under the rug and bribed Kenny Bayless to be his ref.
All to keep the undefeated marketing scheme going.
    Lance Armstrong of boxing.

Besides the standard ones of fighters getting robbed. We also have dives like Wilders bff malik scott and steroids like JMM when he ko'd pac.

But lets do a few others that are maybe less known or talked about.
Jmm is a homosexual. I remember those pics with his japanese boyfriend that are nowhere to be found nowadays.
Not that there is anthing wrong with it!
Pac got ktfo'd by a roided closet case that drinks **** in between....
And I say that as a big fan of jmm as a fighter and commentator.

Anotherone is they robbed larry holmes vs Spinks cause they didnt want a black man to break Marciano's record.

And Eddie Mustafa vs. Matthew Saad in a unification? I believe one of the articles said they were each going to get $4 million, which was a ton for light heavyweights back then. I think Eddie got $25,000 (not a typo) to fight Marvin Johnson for the title.

Seems like the most interesting fights were the ones that didn't get made.

I read a book about the trial by the guy who prosecuted the case. He had kind of a boring writing style but the information was nuts.

Smith was having meetings with boxers in hotel rooms and just handing them suitcases of cash ... not to fight, just to agree to listen to him. And he signed a lot of names. It talked about how the Muhammad Ali amateur boxing club (which included Tony Tubbs and Tony Tucker) was fed cocaine the whole time and riding to tournaments in limos and living like they were stars before they ever turned pro. At one point he tried to get Larry Holmes by meeting him in a hotel room, and Smith didn't realize King was there, and I believe (can't recall) King came out of a bedroom and threatened to kill Smith if he didn't leave. Just nuts.

Arum mentioned that Smith was telling people he was paying boxers like $100,000 but was actually paying them close to a million so they didn't have to pay taxes on it ... and Arum was advising his boxers IF they were going to take the money declare all of it or they were going to go to prison for tax evasion.

And, according to the prosecutor, Ali could've gone to jail with all of them because the company funneling all this stolen money was supposedly partly Ali's (Muhammad Ali Professional Sports), but they realized Ali was totally lost. (Still, his name was on everything.)

Hell, most of the top fighters in the game at that time could've ended up in prison for tax evasion or being involved with him. He nearly brought the whole thing down.

Still, from his jail cell Smith ended up advising Tubbs to his title fight with Page.

    Crazy.

I never heard of a Japanese bf for Marquez that's a first, but i do remember how much the comment sections were filled out implying Cotto really is gay all the way until he had his last fight against Sadam, don't know how they started and why, but was strange,

Speaking of things disappearing of the net there's a few things i've noticed that are now almost impossible to find & here i thought once it's posted on here that it's for life, has to have been a crack down perhaps by their legal teams.

I think the Cotto rumors stem from his interactions with his friend during May/Cotto 24/7 Episode 2. They kissed on the lips and even appeared to be sleeping in the same bed.

Okay what ever happened to that guy, i know he ended up losing heaps ton of weight later on & was meant to be Cotto's manager for his promotion company, kind of just disappeared, probably less in sight due to residing in Puerto Rico.

I remember the Juan Manuel Marquez and the Asian guy photos and how that blew up on message boards like 15 or more years ago. People analyzing them like they were the Zapruder film.

Then the Asian guy wasn't part of the entourage anymore.

You're right, he's a puppeteer. Although we rarely see him, he's always behind the curtain pulling strings to keep his fighters obedient.

"First of all, I want to thank Al Haymon. I also want to thank Showtime and my team. I worked hard and I had a great camp. Oh yeah, I also want to thank God..."
