I think your need to discredit "the man" is skewing your perception of this 'headbutt', I call the incident nothing and in my eyes it is and an unfair deduction of points. Its fair to stereotype german fights as biased in refereeing and judgments im not trying to "use" this, its just apparent in this fight. I imagine you will try and come back with another weak retort on my wording of previous posts or something but you didnt say whether you think this little incident would have got a 2 point deduction in another country. You sometimes have good points to make in your anti-mundine tirades but this effort is weak.

To the guy who wants the fight go to wbva if your a member if not sign up in a few weeks and get it there.

I dont have a clue about Danny v RJJ ,I know that pac vs Hatton was number 1 or 2 for the year and got 1.8mill...

Most big Ufc cards get around 500-800thousand..and thats huge numbers.

Mundine v Foreman??? umm probably not the figures you think....

I think your need to place Mundine on a pedestal and inability to accept that he was beaten fairly and squarely by Ottke is skewing your perception of the incident.

It was the referee's judgement and decision to dock Mundine 2 points for his actions during the entanglement on the ropes. The referee was American, not German.

At the same time that you are denying using Germany's reputation for being corrupt, you insist that this corruption was apparent in this fight (see part in bold above).

The fight ended by KO, however you are suggesting the fix was in to ensure Ottke won on points in the highly likely event he didn't stop Mundine (given his low KO rate).

I think you are one of those people who believe Mundine was ahead on points at the time of the stoppage - just because there is a comment on Boxrec stating that doesn't mean it is correct.

Mundine was dancing and running, refusing to engage for parts of many of the rounds, and had been warned in an earlier round break for use of his head. Ottke stopped and appealed to the ref on at least 2 occasions because Mundine was refusing to engage.

Stop acting so high and mighty, trying to rewrite events that can be clearly seen as illegal under the rules of boxing, and stop trying to undermine what I'm saying by using the all-sweeping generalisation that I'm a hater. I couldn't care less what Mundine does now because he is irrelevant, but I know what he did in the Ottke fight, and no amount of nuthugging and spin on your part can change the fact that he fouled Ottke and received a 2 point penalty for it, and Ottke then went on to knock him out.

I wasn't on about the state of fairplay in Germany mate and you know it , i was on about your "Accidental remark " which is a load of bollocks , fistly one headbut then TWO rabbit punches from behind the rope then another blatant headbut once his head was back in the ring .

you still didn't say if you think those points would have been docked elsewhere. Im well aware that ottke won by ko and that all arguments are moot. However I am a mundine fan and I did think he should have been ahead but he prob was not after the 2 points this comes not from boxrec as Im capable of watchin a fight with my own eyes. Theres nothing wrong with pointing out German corruption ( im still stunned haye got the nod) - ottke has no right to start gesturing at the ref cos someone isnt fighting his fight (see reid fight aswell).

You see what you want to see, I see what I want to see when we watch the headbutt.

And yes green got screwed in beyer fight.

Sturm , Pavlik etc anyone that is considered world class , these blokes he continues to fight are well beneath the level he should be fighting at,

Even if he showed enough balls to fight at CommonWealth level it would be a decent step in the right direction .

Mundines lack of desire to engage even with sub-par fighters is whats alarming me , the so called man's ****ed on an international level and is only talked about on domestic boards such as these.

Two fights i would love to see in 2010 ?

    Mundine v Barker @ Middle

    Green v Cleverly @ L/Heavy .

after the dusts settles the circus will stop with the two beaten Aussies facing off down under in the last fights of their respective careers .

Anthony is a great friend of mine and has left the country on numerous occasions to pursue greatness. Although he hasnt achieved it at the elite level like I have he has given me his word 2010 is "the Mans" year.
