what's the most sensible attitude for a celebrated amateur turning pro?

    Has any fighter stuck with that strategy -- hung'em-up with all his marbles, 'n enough nuts 'n berries for his retirement.

    I would have said Michael Spinks, until I found out he later claimed Butch Lewis took too much of his money.
    They certainly had a great run, achieved and earned a lot more than expected, and bowed out at the right time.
    And Michael wasn't in love with the sport.
