    ibragimov

i think this will be a good barometer for how well his chin will hold up at hw. sultan hits pretty hard, but isnt too big. itll be a good step up, but not too difficult of a fight.

if he fights a big tall guy next, it might end his hw career too soon. id go for the safer fight for now, after that take on a big guy, then depending on that fight try to get a belt.

I don't think he should fight any of the guys on this list. Most of these guys aren't serious contenders let alone threats to the division. I think Haye needs to go after guys like Dimitrenko, Arreola, and Povetkin. These guys are all "up and comers" like Haye and he needs to establish himself as the number one guy. Additionally I think these three guys would give Haye a much better battle than the guys on this list. Toney? Thompson? Mccline? Are you kidding me????? Look anyone can lose in any given fight but I just don't see these has beens and recycled fighters doing much for Haye's reputation, status, improving his skill set, preparing him for the brothers, or his ability to draw fans and sell fights.

Beating gatekeepers and washed up legends might be good tune up fights but they do little to prepare you for a championship fight and less for credibility....ask Calzaghe! I hope Haye goes after young dangerous contenders. Though I think he's just a fat slob, I could live with a Haye vs. Peter fight just to see if Haye could take Peter's punch.

    arreola is another sound choice.

i think povetkin would probably be too dangerous at this point.

I think Povetkin's inexperience would be his downfall in a Haye fight. Haye's faster and stronger too but I'd like to see this one go down. No more recycled and fat guys please. :)

Arreola would indeed be a good fight, especially when you consider the rumoured bad blood between them both.

Arreola has a chance to win, but his fitness (or lack thereof) and his Mexican pressure fighting style, which means he basically blocks with his face, will work against Chazz but not against Haye!

He should train, improve, and wait for his big payday. Not enough to gain by risking it against someone else.

Dimitrenko - big, good power, young and inexperienced, he was one of my first choices for Haye to fight. Dimitrenko has never faced someone as fast and powerful as Haye.
Arreola - big, good power, young and determined, he is probably the best choice now that Haye's gotten his introductory fight out of the way. Haye should be able to out speed him but Arreola shoots straight and accurate(atleast more accurate and straight then Barret).
Ibragimov - speedy, accurate, tough counter puncher, he may have ran from Wlad but he has a good chance to hurting Haye. unclear though as to what Ibragimov's plans are, he says he wants to keep fighting but hasn't had a match in almost a year. Six months ago I liked this match-up, now it's a wash.
Bidenko - good speed, technically proficient, durable, low power. Bidenko has the speed, reach and technical boxing skills to really test Haye. Haye would have to show a more conservative side and probably go 12 rounds in order to win.
Thompson - big, reachy, tough, awkward, good stamina and a southpaw. Thompson may be a bit plodding but he can pressure anyone, even take repeated rights from Wlad for 11 rounds before toppling. if anyone can test Haye's resolve it's Thompson, he's also the last man to give Wlad a serious challenge. BEST FIGHT

I like the sound of McCline and impressive quick victory of a man of his size would look good.
