So the Tyson Fury of the Usyk fights In with prime Mike Tyson.. What's the odds on him lasting 12 Round s?
No, I think it's clear that the Fury of the Usyk fights had slipped a bit and that he didn't really trust his punch resistance the same after the ninth round. A very difficult fight for Fury. But he's a very tough, very big man, Wilder II Fury would be a good bet to go the distance with Mike, assuming Fury didn't knock Mike out.
Tyson is a better H2H fighter overall but he's alot smaller than Fury and he'd struggle with Fury's clinching and mauling especially from a much bigger man. I'm not sure about Fury of the Usyk fights going the distance with Tyson though he was badly hurt by Usyk in their 1st fight and didn't have the confidence to chase him down in their 2nd fight. I think a prime Fury could go the distance with Tyson though.
Why the Fury of the Usyk fights? Why not at his best? I would favour prime Fury to stop him late after suffering a few knockdowns. He was not Tillis, Green, Tucker or Douglas. I think people who dislike Fury are really enjoying putting the boot in now. Here we go - Cus. Rooney. Cayton. Givens. King. Washington. Drugs. Sex. Prison. Etc, etc, etc.
Tucker, Green, mostly fought to survive though Tillis was early in his career that's like me bringing up Fury struggling immensely vs McDermott. Whilst Douglas may of not been a great fighter between 1987-1990 he was a very good H2H fighter and is more than capable on his best night of beating Fury if he isn't at 100 percent.
The Fury of the wilder fights seems a long, long time ago now. That Fury could, possibly beat Tyson after taking a **** load of punches.
Fury had the spoiler advantages,he could've possibly gone the distance, but I'm sure Mike could still decision Fury tough.
