You're an example as well of the people who think they know all these miracle drills. How do mitts build power? You think the resistence of your arm is better than a heavy bag? :patsch You must have some pretty big fvking arms

Have you seen the way 99% of these trainers do mitt work? Standing in 1 place doesn't build better footwork. The others circle the fighter and have them throw 1 punch. That doesn't translate to the ring as good as sparring.

Everything that you and others claim that mitt work does can be done better by sparring, shadowboxing and bag work. Mitt work is just a **** poor excuse for trainers not to pay attention to there fighters. For some of these fighters the only time they see their trainer is when doing mitt work. To build a successful fighter the trainer has to supervise everything from sparring to bag work.

That's why I put them on ignore. You have a newbie who hasn't even had his first match to make it to rookie yet but still he's gonna try to tell a head coach his business about training fighters.

Sure mitt work trumps any other exercise. Just because you own a gym doesn't mean you know **** about boxing. How many successful fighters have you actually trained? Thought so. So until you gain some credibility you are just as knowledgable as me and anyone else. Btw im sure if you were even half a good trainer you wouldn't be lurking on boxing forums. Get off the net and work with your fighters.

Lol like you know ****? Got proof of you ever even competing? You belong to a half ass club started by some nerds at a college in Nowhere, USA and think you are knowledgeable enough to say that you know more than everyone else?:rofl:patsch

You also tried bragging saying you were invited to teach veterans how to box :rofl I saw the pictures it was some anorexic looking kid who was throwing the worst right hand in history in front of an old lady at a park :rofl:rofl

I hope you feel good about yourself when you pick on people online.

This is one of many reasons I and most other trainers don't bother coming here. I thought the training area might be different but I see it is not. I came to try to help and my credentials speak for themselves.

Sorry I am late, but chopping wood will not increase acceleration, any type of weight training is bad for fighters, in the ring you are not restricted by weights!
Dagwop has the methods I train to, no skipping, no running, no padwork, no weights and no circuit training. However in addition I have developed a totally new way of training the body that no one in the boxing world knows about.....

****, you found the magic secret that nullifies all my hard work?
    Please tell me more.

Inb4 pre-fight enemas are mentioned cause that's how ridiculous this thread is getting.

Chopping wood will increase power. I skip rope because it conditions my calves directly. I run in order to strengthen legs and to develop patience/focus. I don't do the other 3 though and I have experimented for the last 3 years with weights doing just about anything bodybuilding, powerlifting, strength training, endurance, etc. They don't build each muscle equally.

Does chopping wood increase the number of muscle fibers? How? We've been over time and time again debunking this nonsense that running strengthens the legs yet you still haven't provided with any support. Running doesn't strengthen your legs. Read DW threads.

I don't know how because I don't look into it and I don't care how. Chopping wood increase punching power is what I'm asserting. The number of muscle fibers doesn't increase punching power. Strength (hyperplasia) doesn't increase power. Running does strengthen legs in the boxing sense. When I first started running on a daily basis whether it be sprinting or jogging 2 miles my legs ceased to feel tired when boxing the same number of rounds. Therefore it works. I have real life proof. Me.

I don't know what "DW" means. I don't use forums other than this one and boxing scene so I'm not that familiar with the slang used.
