This quote demonstrates you do not not understand training methods since your last sentence contradicts your second and third sentence! Your common sense should tell you that running and skipping are forms of weight training for your legs and the result of persistant usage as boxing training tool will result in loss of balance in the body.
Boxing is not running, a runner needs to have a light top half a fighter needs to be balanced from head to toe with regard to mass distribution!.

They don't contradict at all because I exercise my upper body as well. Distance running conditions the heart and lungs. By distance running the chambers of the heart get bigger allowing more blood to be pumped through it which carries oxygen and get to the muscles. Also, long distance running requires little recovery. Sprinting however requires long recovery time and with boxing (a sport you should be training a minimum of 4-5 times per week) you need a faster recovery time.

You seem to think that when running I/most boxers run 10 miles every day. I run 2 miles and sprint 50m 6x. The runners you compare me to are running a minimum of 100 miles per week. I get in 10 at best not including sprints. Also, running should be incorporated for overall fitness. Boxing is a lifestyle and you have to take care of your body. When was the last time you heard of a champion boxer who could barely run a mile?

So you sir are the one who doesn't understand training methods.

Didn't you say last year that you were soon to be turning pro? I am very interested in how you will do if you supposedly say you have these groundbreaking training techniques. Could you upload videos of you yourself demonstrating them.

It is a great way for a boxer to warm up. It also takes away the butterflies and nerves. The ritual comes with the positive interaction between coach and boxer.

It was a failed attempt at sarcasm, couldn't find the right emote for it. :blurp

I'm a big believer in mitts honestly and seen it used with some of my favorite fighters, one of them being a former featherweight world champion and ranked #2 in Australia.

If someone doesn't want to use mitts, that's fine by me. Just like the idiot that wants to focus all his energy on the speed bag, then wonder why it doesn't translate very well to a fight environment outside of conditioning.

The methods you use a fighter can just about complete 12, 3 minute rounds, the methods I use a fighter can fight for 100, 3 minute rounds!
My methods are not new but much older than your methods, based in true science not pseudo science!

Do you think a man who has not studied the human body to an advanced level can truly train anyone with the confidence of knowing what they are really doing?
Boxing is a life style and sport which require an advanced understanding of physics and human physiology if your want to truly understand what you are doing.
There has been recent increase in pelvic injuries and people who run, often have hip and pelvic problems later on life.
Is your exercise designed to get you healthy or is it designed to injury you?
