Whats the point of training your pectorals for boxing?

    Isolations = type of exercise, what you keep crying about.
    Pecs = a muscle

    Many boxers use plated neck resistance exercises to strengthen their neck which isolate the neck. You could use it because looks to me like you got dropped on your head once. (Twice?)

  7. Power Hooks, body shots, uppercuts etc i feel use quite a bit of pectoral flexion if the punches are trained that way.

    But we all know a push up isnt an isolated pectorial exersize in the first place, its highly functional compound for boxing as it trains a group of muscles in a way directly relates to strengthening the upper body for a punch.
