    Imo, very high probability.

Once cotto is done with canelo in his next fight, he will theoretically face triple g but he won't.

He'll vacate his belt and then say something like he had a great career and retire, some bs like that.

    What do you think?

He'll use the "Im noh a meedlewate" excuse even though he's going to fight Canelo who is the same size as GGG on fight night lol

    Bingo! :deal

I'm sure he'll "move" down or "retire" or something.

  5. Yep, Cotto only wants big money fights that he can look good in. His Roc Nation contract is like Floyd's Showtime contract, GUARANTEED MONEY, he really doesn't need GGG. Cotto can go back to super welter.

There's only so many guys in boxing that give him that big money fight. I mean, he already fought money may, pacman and other big names. There's literally like Noone left for big money fights, just canelo I guess? Who else?

Could a triple g-cotto fight be a big money fight if it gets hyped up enough?

  7. Does not matter who. The money is there already for him and Ward. He can soft touch fight 3 more times. It's a 4 fight deal.
Gennady will have to drain, I ****in guarantee it, I don't like it because Middle weight is Middle weight.

Cotto isn't getting past Canelo so its moot point.

I don't think the WBC will force him to vacate. He'll fight a rematch with Canelo or someone else, and the WBC will clap and dance along while GGG and his loyal fans are left whining and complaining about something they should probably see coming a mile away.

Cotto has done everything in his career, he doesnt need to be anybody's stepping stone to millions of dollars. Cotto deserves to just make money now at the end of his career, he has proven his greatness facing great fighters. GGG needs to find another way to become a big draw in boxing.

Don't worry about it, Canelo will relieve Cotto of the GGG burden.

I have no problem with Cotto dropping the belt and not fighting GGG, but I will think he is a ***** if he sits on it for another year after the Canelo fight.
