What's the purpose of Floyd asking a rematch clause with Mosley?

    What do you mean?

If he loses he wants a rematch.

What is so hard to understand?

Unless you believe he's going to throw the fight on purpose in order to have a rematch for money.

Which wouldn't make any sense considering he had the DLH 2 fight basically set and backed out of it.

    Pac had one against JMM

Why did he need one? We all know he beat JMM the first time.

Good point but even if Floyd loses you're telling me a rematch wont be demanded by the fans???

What if Mosley comes out with all he has like Judah did and wins 3 of the 4 rounds to start the fight and then one fighter gets cut by a headbutt and Mosley wins a TD in only 4 or 5 rounds??? Then he gets offered a fight with Pac and just tells Floyd hey **** you? Or if Floyd dominates him and then Mosley cuts him with a punch late in the fight and they stop the fight and Mosley wins buy TKO and then tells Floyd to **** off and takes a fight with Pac???

No big deal really since Pac is off trying to be the Pinoy Jesse Ventura I think they'll have time for 2 fights anyway.

I like the winner to have a free choice for his next fight. As the winner, I think he deserves to have that privilege.

Not that the winner will be forced to give a rematch because of the rematch clause in the contract.

I can understand that, but there have been plenty of fights since you've joined the forum which fighters have had rematch clauses, only now you make a thread about it?

And note, it's a rematch clause, not an IMMEDIATE rematch clause, so Floyd has the opportunity to fight Mosley whenever he wants if he were to lose.

Mosley could fight Pac if he were to beat Floyd, then rematch Floyd after.

I'm not aware that it's NOT an immediate rematch clause. I have no problems with rematches either immediate or not as long as it's really needed.

I'm also not aware that you've been monitoring my postings. :D

As I said, if he didn't think he would like a rematch immediately no matter how he lost he wouldn't have asked for a rematch clause. Your doubts mean nothing.

No disrespect to Floyd yet one of your poll options: "Rematch Money. If he can't outbox Mosley, he will run all night, loses and still gets a rematch."

    Who are you kidding?
