105 - always has been, always will be, but it's ESPECIALLY weak now that Calderon is moving up and Mayol has moved up. But there aren't a whole lot of men in the world who can make 105, and that keeps the talent pool pretty weak. If the higher weights, 154 is probably the weakest.
Sergei Dzinzurik . It's not the strongest of weight divisions by any means though . Minimumweight is pretty poor at the moment , Light-Flyweight the same . I don't think Bantamweight is poor , guys like Silence Mabuza , Jhonny Gonzalez , Hasegawa , Wladamir Sidorenko and Tshifhiwa Munyai are all good quality fighters that are good to watch . The problem with the weight is the best aren't fighting each other . Light-Heavyweight is reasonably strong with Hopkins , Woods , Erdei , Dawson , Johnson , Tarver , Jones , the two Aussies Green and Briggs , Drews , Garay . The fighters at the top of it aren't as good as the Bantamweights(imo) but Light-Heavy does have a good bit of depth which helps make up for the lack of quality at the top . Plus either Calzaghe/Kessler is quite likely to join it soon .
They should crap this weight and move towards reducing the number of weight divisions. I mean at the lower weights there's a division for every couple of pounds. I mean who the hell knows who fights who at the minimum weight (105) and light flyweight is just about as bad. They don't need to go back to the traditional 8 because I think 168 and 154 are worthwhile keeping, but they should consider getting ride of a couple of divisions when the weight difference is minimal.
The title "minimumweight champion of the world" isn't very impressive, is it? Eagle Kyowa rules that tiny division. He does have 6 ko's but he gets even less respect than Vivian Harris.
