What's the status of Rau'Shee Warren...Is he still an Amatuer???

    This kid has REAL NATURAL ABILITY AND TALENT. After two Olympics and their HORRIBLE scoring system...i hope he has abandon that dream of a Gold Medal and GO PRO.

    Does anyone know his Status???

    I heard he was retiring after the last olympics, even though he was only like 23ish, but he boxed against Ireland not too long ago. Really exiting fighter, do well as a pro I think.

    As far as I know, the only official word was back in '08 when he said he was aiming for the 2012 Olympics. However after the nationals in June, he was pissed that he lost to a relative unknown as he thought he'd won, and admitted that him getting screwed meant he was contemplating changing his mind. No official word yet though, I think that was heat of the moment and I think he'll probably stay amateur.

    He really whooped my very good friend Carlitos Ortiz from Guayanilla, Puerto Rico !!! Here in Guayanilla we got one the best boxing gym/trainers in Puerto Rico Gill Cintro aka Toba! btw after that Ortiz went to win Bronze in Panamerican Games
