    Folks,

YES! The crapola is once again resurfacing in the world of boxing. Lame reports about Tyson looking thinner in recent times and in need of a stellarbound payday.. And, his choice opponent is--Evander Holyfield for the WBF title in 2011...... MALARKEY!!

Okay, its true Holy is about 4 solid years older than the soon-to-be 44 year old Mike Tyson is, but, at least Holy has been active since 2006 while Tyson has jacked-off since 2005... If Tyson couldn't beat Holy in the 1990s, WTF is he thinking now other than a quick income fix.?.?

ALRIGHT! I admit, I am curious myself, but I know this match-up is just a rumor and it'll prolly never get off the ground... If it does, we are ALL to blame for allowing this rubber match farce to ever occur just so Mike Tyson can get his ass KO'd for a third time while making more millions' of dollars..... ARGH!!

My advice to Mike Tyson, wake up to reality and learn to drive a Taxi cab downtown.......

The main objective here was: "If people think Holy is delusional for remaining in the game at age 47, then Tyson has utterly lost it to the max in believing he can regain his past form and be a star in the spotlight once again."

    'Tain't gonna happen, folks.........:-(

A story / thread I gandered at on a different boxing site that I will not post the name of on ESB......... The site is fairly reliable....... Even though I have been hearing this "Tyson" comeback rumor for the last 2 yrs.......

I have also seen some supposed recent shots of Tyson looking thinner in his dress suits.......

Who knows what Tyson has planned?:think

The fact that this thread is slow moving kinda' proves that Tyson's bullcrap act has worn thin and nobody is buying it anymore..........

    MR.BILL

    P.S.

I was big on Tyson from 1988 to 1996...... After he chewed Holy's ear in '97 I realized he was a typical ******* and I lost interest.....

Atlanta was pitching to hold the fight last year. I f they priced the tickets right and put it on PPV for like 24.99 it would sell. I would go or buy it on PPV for a reasonable price. I can't believe they did not make this fight after Tyson fought Lewis.

This rumor needs to die NOW. It's offensive to my brain. Mike finally seems to be moving on with his life. Holyfield should too, there's got to be something else for him to do.

Holyfield has been doing commercials for Zaxby's and Taco Bell but the guy is basically flat broke from his house and child support. I hate it for the guy but he did it to himself. :-(

I agree.......... The PPV for the rubber match would have to be at a reduced price of no more than 30 bucks............. This recent PPV **** of 50 to 60 USA dollars is absurd, in terms of what's been received....... "Packy-Clottey" and "Mayrunner-Mosley." WEAK!!

I thought he had some interesting stuff to say about Pac/Mayweather. Does anybody else think he might be good for commentating? I don't think his speech is that bad. Considering. Yeah, I'm probably alone on this one.

I always thought James Toney would be a great commentator, with Holyfield it would be some of the best commentery of all time.

Yeah, what the hell did he earn from Taco Bell? Or even his good fight but poor production of the "Botha" encounter??

I doubt he's made enough off that to keep his boat floating......

    MR.BILL

    P.S.

Holy also did a guest appearance on TCM to co-host with Robert Osborne......... Did Holy get paid there???

I am 100% with you on this, but I'm pretty sure we're alone. I'm also not sure if you're serious. I know people would have a hell of a time understanding James, but it would be worth it for the sheer insanity he would bring. Every broadcast would be a fiasco. Could you imagine him interviewing somebody after a fight? You think Larry Merchant can be disrespectful? Haha! James would probably be picking fights with his entourage flooding the ring. Bedlam, I tell you, absolute bedlam.
