James Toney & Leon Spinks working together behind the mic would be murder to the English language...... Yes, Holy is bad enough as it is, but not that horrid.......

If it's actually true I'll speak about it then. Until then I'll stfu about it and so should everyone else. Let the guy enjoy his hard earned retirement. I also don't think the guy deserves the hate he gets on here either.

Tyson-Holy is a terrible idea, but why put all the blame on Tyson. Holy is the one that has been refusing to accept reality and has demonstrated that he's absolutely desperate for cash (didn't he line up a fight w/ botha recently and his name has been linked to just about every leftover from the 1990's lately). Tyson has been somewhat settled in to the idea that he no longer has it for some time and has been able to downsize his life and live pretty comfortably by doing movies, shows, etc. I'm just saying, given their track records I'd bet that Holy is probably more to blame for talk of this fight coming up now

Holy has NOT been embarrassed during his comeback stemming from 2006......... Yes, we all know he is faded, but he's still capable at age 47.......

Dude, if this fight is actually being discussed, be assured that Holy wants this fight b'c he wants a quick money fix more than mike (who too would only be looking for a payday). Holy is the one who shouldn't be considering this fight cuz as you say he's supposed to be active, capable, and still selling the idea that he's going for a title (unlike mike).

But as to your point that Holy would easily win this, it's hard to argue just b/c tyson hasn't done **** in 5 years and Holy has been active. However, i wouldn't make tyson too much of an underdog. Holy has looked capable at times since 2006 (his best win IMO was beating a somewhat capable vinny maddalone in good fashion - i didn't see the valuev debacle so can't comment). But he has also showed diminished reflexes and an inability to pull the trigger and land especially when stepping up at all (ibragimov, oquendo). Tyson at least in 04 and 05 could stilll pull the trigger and his reflexes were not that shot (though his punch power admittedly looked ordinary vs mcbride) and tyson hasn't been taking punches to the head like holy has. I would bet that with anything resembling a propper training camp tyson could be competitive with the current version of holyfield (tho holy should win as you say).

I believe Holy is faded, but Tyson is shot.......... Tyson has made excuses about looking average to normal in the ring eversince he came back to KO Frans Botha in 1999........ The last time Tyson even remotely reminded the fans that he was back in full swing was when he stopped a scared shitless Franky Bruno in 3 rds back in 1996........

We all know Bruce Seldon left his heart back in the locker room in Sept. of '96..... Seldon tanked more than Tyson won.......

I thought Tyson looked off and uncertain in fights against "Norris & Francis." Them were "DUD" bouts........

Louie Savarese was merely caught cold in Sweden....

Golota is known to choke in big fights......

Nielsen was fodder for a 239 pound Tyson in 2001.......

Lewis wasted Tyson.... 'Nuff said there...

Tyson choked against "Williams and McBride" in 2004 / '05.......

Tyson weighs like 400 lbs and he is medicated into a normal person, no way it happens. I think EH really wants it but Mike isn't interested. I remember an interview they did together a while back and EH saying how great it would be for a third fight and Mike saying " laughing Great for who?? You. Not me, I don't fight anymore" or something like that. Maybe some kind of exhibition, at most I would think.

Tyson is shot, but his Kos/stoppages of golota, ettiene, savarese, even the 1 punch ko of botha (after plodding around for 6 rounds) are more impressive than what holy's been doing over the past 8 -10 years or so. Yes these guys were b-/c plus hws but don't know how you can say those performances were average and unexciting. Hell, the beatdown tyson put on williams for two rounds in 04 before tearing up his knee was at least as impressive/exciting as any "beatdown" holy has managed in that time frame.

Tyson's shot cuz he ain't done anything in 5 years and he doesn't have the heart for it. If Tyson wanted to stay active over the past 5 years I'm pretty sure he could beat vinny maddalone and jeremy bates and an even older and inactive versions of savarese and botha and i bet he could dance around with oquendo and do enough to get an unearned decision. but he hasn't stayed active and thus holy has to be more "capable" at present

I forgot about Ettiene getting waxed in 2003 by Tyson...... I recall Ettiene layed-down in round 1.... Ettiene was never known for his jaw..... I think he took his money and ran to the bank.....

Ettiene may well have chosen not to get up, but if you've seen the fight u cannot deny that it was a monster shot which would've put a lot of guys down. IMO ettiene was legitimately swinging and trying to bang w/ tyson prior to the shot ( a dumb strategy to say the least) and i just think he got clocked, could've gotten up, but decided not to. but it was a brutal shot

I think I saw Mike Tyson on this show called Biography recently, he was also doing some sport news show with some guy that I forget. Anyway he was waaay thinner then I've seen him in years. He looks a lot older with the weight off.

I'd buy it for $25.00 or less. I'm not paying $50.00. I'd probably just go watch it at a bar or not at all in that case.
