Whats this Khan v Mosley stuff on the homepage of ESB?

Khan, as usual, talked endless trash about Alexander publicly without officially sending any contract whatsoever. Alexander's team responded as visible in this thread, a comical response to say the least and Khan didn't say anything in return. Now he's rumored to be fighting either Mosley or Kendall Holt.

 

Is there any other sources anywhere else to back this rumour up?

 

Doubt this fight will happen anyway. Khan is most likely going to fight Holt or anyone easier. His team knows that if they send him to fight anyone with half a chance he could get sparked and the Mayweather payday will go forever.

 

Will they get a Mayweather shot by beating C fighters like Holt though? At least Guerrero took on bigger challenges in Aydin and Berto, fights he was an underdog in, to get the Mayweather jackpot.

I wouldn't consider Holt a C fighter at this point, he's years past his best and was recently stopped by light puncher Peterson. Yes he most likely will, in the end this fight will most definitely sell and easily. Sadly, Guerrero isn't famous enough nor controversial(shaky jaw) as Amir Khan. Don't forget that SHOWTIME's version of 24/7 would be extremely entertaining/comical involving both Khan and Mayweather.

 

That's exactly why his team are currently lost as they try and find an opponent for him to stay active. If Diaz nearly killed him at a catchweight as low as 142, imagine what others at welterweight would do?. His team know that if he's not rushed to the big payday he could get sparked for good by anyone else. As far as justification is concerned, people will still order the PPV and tune-in for hilarity's sake.

 

The last time I saw Mosley (versus Alvarez) he had nothing on his punches at all. Even M. Steward commented on how "he's just jingling them out there." I don't even think Khan would have anything to worry about. Easy work.

 

so has alexander refused too fight him then? and whats with all the khan haters? khan is a very good talent in my eyes brilliant amateur with an olympic silver going on to beat the gold medalist, and in the pros hes done a damn good job for our country aswell! how can people say he hand picked oponents every pro does at the start of there carrier but in the heights of his career hes beaten some top names zab judah.. maidana.. malignaggi.. mcCloskey too name a few.. ive been lucky enough to train with him in america and he made time for everyone that wanted a picture or something signed lets not forget he does alot for charity aswell just last week hes been in scotland giving sick children presents.. i know its a long rant but i cant see whats too hate about the guy

oh and i do agree i dont think he should fight Mosley.. mosley needs to retire hes done a great job in the sport and now hes fighting on too far ive noticed hes started to slur his words slightly aswell... not the way we wanna see a great fighter like mosley go out !

i think maybe a good fight for khan would be jess vargas or maybe even kell brook if the alexander fight doesnt happen

 

If mosley stops shaking his hands long enough to register anything in compubox power shot category Amir could very well look like last call at a bar. Long time fan of ssm hate seeing him like this but khan cannot and will never be able to take a punch.

 

I'd rather have Khan/Alexander and Mosley/Mundine, but whatever.

I wouldn't make Khan that big of a favorite even over ancient Mosley.

 

I won't bother to watch Khan/Mosley fight, waste of time. Khan Alexander, but Alexander is afraid to fight Khan, he wants to cheat in his home town of St. Lous with his personal referee and judges........
