    David Lemiuex as well.

But, a loss is inevitable in boxing. No shame in losing a fight! Not everyone can be p4p #1

:D All three took on the best or one of the best fights possible, gave us great performances (for the most part) and since they lose now they're exposed. :-(

I don't think Alexander's performance was good, let alone great.

Berto, aside from scoring some knockdowns got his ass kicked.

Lopez threw the kitchen sink at Salido and then ran out of both answers and gas.

I disagree with the term exposed in all three cases only because they'd all had the same tell-tale flaws "exposed" before their first pro losses.

I live in the United States of America.

Puerto Ricans live in a territory owned by the USA, but not in the USA itself.

As far as I'm concerned, you can claim American nationality if you live in one of the 46 States, 4 Commonwealths, or the District of Columbia - in other words, the Continental US + Hawaii and Alaska.

If you're Puerto Rican, you're Puerto Rican. PR is a commonwealth of the US (lowercase-c...not a capital-c "Commonwealth" like the 4 that act as states - completely different thing) but by definition is not a federated state of the union.

Regardless of present citizenship status... if and when the commonwealth/territory of PR is ever granted Statehood, then Puerto Ricans can refer to themselves as Americans. :good

After alexander beat urango all the hype was all over him. Saying he's the best and no one has ever done that to urango before. He was all hype up after that fight.

Everyone kept talking about how berto is too strong and too fast and how he'll beat mosley and pac should face a young prime boxer. **** even some are saying pac is ducking berto by facing mosley next.

Except "everyone" wasn't really everyone. In fact, it probably wasn't even that large a majority.

Even after the Alexander KO over Urango, despite some people going overboard with the hype many of us still expressed skepticism about him, and insisted he'd be outclassed by Bradley or Khan.

Even after the Berto KO of Hernandez, despite some people going overboard with the hype many of us still expressed skepticism about him, and insisted he'd be outclassed by any top welterweight (or, as it turns out, one of the top light welterweights moving up).

I don't think the hype for either ever got carried away to the point where the nuthuggers drowned out the skeptics. It was always a pretty even debate in both cases.

Dumbest post I've ever seen. Juan Ma is puerto rican. Alexander and Berto were both beaten by fellow Americans.

They still loss and berto was supposed to be the guy who many think will give pacquaio a lot of problems cuz of his speed and power. Alexander after knocking urango the **** out was supposed to be the next big thing. :deal

Alexander was the (for the most part).

Berto got his ass handed to him by Ortiz, but I wasn't disappointed with his performance. I think he was just ill prepared for what Ortiz had to offer that night.

Lopez seems to do all the wrong things when he's hit clean and flush often.

Fighters get hyped up after they win fights...

Are you suggesting that Bradley wasn't looked at as an even matchup at least? Bcuz he was if not favored more by a lot.

Berto is strong/fast but I think most that assumed he'd beat Ortiz was more because of Ortiz. People saying he'd beat Mosley is due to Mosley's decline and saying Pac should face a young prime boxer is because... they want him to face a young prime boxer. Doubt many said Berto would beat Pac, just they want to see someone with speed vs Pac instead of the bigger slower fighters.

Yeah, but I doubt majority of the Puerto Ricans want to be an independent country. I don't think they'd want to lose their American citizenship. Mexicans would kill for that ****. Or Cubans.
