As much as I would like to see the rematch, he beat Matthysse very clearly, Herrera deserves a rematch more than Matthysse.

I think Broner, Peterson and Algieri are worthwhile fights. If Garcia moves up to WW, there are a lot of big fights for him.

I think Haymon is trying to procure a rematch with "Lightning" Rod Salka.

A 1 point victory w/ a controversial knock down doesnt deserve a rematch to you?

He rematched Morales for Christ sake :patsch

Not sure why people want to see this fight, Peterson isn't that great

    He'd be fighting Lucas leftovers

He won by one point on a bs knockdown, dont think that counts as beating the hell out of him

There's a ton of fights at 140 for him, and if he goes to 147 he has options as well.

Not sure what route he'll go. Seems dumb to run from 140 when you have Crawford, Broner, Matthysse, Provodnikov, Rios, Alvarado, Peterson, and even Pacquiao. At 147 he's looking at Khan, Bradley, Maidana, Guerrero, Thurman, Brook, and Porter. He's with GBP and Haymon so he pretty much has his pick of who he wants...can't understand why he's sitting idle.

He doesn't want to fight a live body, but his handlers getting way more bad press than he is worth putting him in super easy. So they aren't in a hurry.

Not sure why everyone is puzzled at Garcia's inactivity. His team is probably holding out for a possible fight with Floyd. He still has his 0 so is still very marketable. But the reality is he's gone very close to losing in two fights and moving up to the more competitive WW division will see him against even better fighters.

Picking the right fight for him is paramount to maintain his status, once he loses that 0, he will lose a lot of potential mega buck fights.
