They even put out numerous videos taking George Groves' words out of context to support their claims and one of them (a big channel with over 60 K subs) even reported that there was a problem with Fury's B sample without providing a single source.

Referee Jack Reese has hit back at suggestions that Tyson Fury tampered with his gloves during his first fight with Deontay Wilder. After Fury’s victory in Las Vegas on February 22, videos have circulated online which allege that the Gypsy King’s hands were not fully inside his gloves during both fights with Wilder. In the videos, Fury’s gloves could be seen flapping as they connected with Wilder’s face. The conspiracy theory has been widely rubbished and ridiculed by several figures in boxing including Fury’s cutman Jacob ‘Stitch’ Duran, his former trainer Ben Davison, and Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn. And now Reese, who was the official for the first fight which ended in a controversial draw in December 2018, has slammed the allegations.

‘The same idiot conspiracy theorists claim that I helped Fury with his gloves in round three or four of the first fight,’ Reese said in a message to SiriusXM. ‘What I was actually doing was putting a piece of gauze and tape that was hanging from his glove back in so it wouldn’t hurt Wilder accidentally by hitting him in the eye or maybe scraping. ‘But these guys who don’t know what they are talking about always have to complain.

‘I’m referring to these so-called ‘experts’. Just because a person eats out at a restaurant every day he may develop a good taste for good food but it doesn’t make them a chef. He doesn’t know the ingredients that are being put in and how to cook it. ‘Just because you watch a boxing fight, if you’ve never had a fight, were never a referee, were never a judge, you don’t really know a lot about boxing. Especially if you’ve been punched in the face.’
