OK stopped by Mabuza, but since then a one punch Ko vs Arroyo, took out Coleman with authority, SD loss vs Garcia, the dude should still be in the mix. What the hell? I want to see Mr Holt back in action. Wasted Julio Diaz who just gave Porter hell in a draw.

I'd like to see him continue at 140 if he still can. He is in that weird position of being too dangerous of an opponent but can't be the A side of a promotion. But if you beat him, big deal, Mabuza beat him.

The important thing is to keep fighting. Anybody know why Rated R has been inactive?

He was supposed to fight Josesito back in june at an outdoor venue in CA on FNF, passed with heat concerns. That freed up Lopez for Ortiz.

He had shoulder surgery earlier this year because of a long lingering injury. He should be back in early 2013 in full force.

Khabib happened, he scared Holt into temporary retirement. Holt ducked Khabib.

I actually cant wait for his return if he comes back motivated and in shape.

A ready to go and up-for-it Holt can make for some awesome fights at 140.

Great thread man I was wonderin the same thing. He's always been one of my favorites. I hope he can push alittle harder he's always coming up short in most big fights. Idk if it's a mental thing, but I hope he fixes that problem he has about shutting down. He has the speed, power, and that double hook he does body/head is one of the best in the world. I wish him the best.

Apparently he looked murderous against Coleman, who had talked insane **** beforehand, like he always does. I thought he was going to fight Lamont Peterson a while back but I guess it got called off. I agree he'd be a good test for the Honey Badger after the Lundy fight, assuming a bout with Garcia or Alvarado doesn't materialize.
