Its just sourgrapes and hating, everyone who knows boxing knows that
Pacquiao would of knocked out any version of Hatton includimg the one that fought Tszyu.

punch resistance tends to disappear when you literally leap into shots

The version that fought Tszyu was significantly better, and arguably did have better punch resistance. Though with that said Pac is on a different level and would have murdered any version.

    Hatton's punch resistance gone? :blood

Any 140 pounder hit with the same punch would go down. It's right on the button. :deal

Don't think anyone is using it as an excuse more an observation. He took Tsyu's best shots that had Judah doing the chicken dance. He did not take Pacman's. Even discounting the knockout which like most posters are saying would have knocked out most anyone. Hatton was in trouble from the first shot in the first round.

No amount of punch resistance can withstand that kind of punch. That's the punch of the decade which is reminiscent of the foreman punch that sent frazier to kingdom come.

Yes . . . besides . . . Hatton didn't lose in a 12 round give and take war. We didn't see him lose steam because of so much punishments being received . . . so how can that loss relates to his punch resistance? :D

Yes. His punch resistance seemed to vanish from the end of the Collazo fight onwards. But the Hatton that beat Tszyu wouldn't have beaten Pac.

Its just stupid excuses from people that dont want to admit that Hatton was never on Pac“s level.

Obviously it's just the very first time Hatton had taste a real power punch.
