Whats up with this taylor-froch ****?

The purse bids were supposed to be announced today but I haven't heard anything

 

Someone posted a thread saying they are postponed, again. WBC REALLY wants Taylor to take that belt and bring them LOTS of money. Dstew posted a nice thread, this might even be it , detailing the best info on the offers. Bottom line seems to be if Froch's team can get the thing televised on short notice he would keep the UK money. Taylor has a date and a budget layed out. He knows what his cut would be. Guess is Froch would get $1.4 million IF they can get the TV folks in the UK on board.

I haven't seen exact figures. I'm going on past deals. He got $3 mill in his second Pavlik fight. (Pavlik only got $1 mill, but it was part of a rematch clause Pavlik signed to get the title shot) Taylor got $2.5 mill to fight Lacy. Taylor has gone on record as saying he fights for the biggest check. $1.6 mill and a title shot sounds more than reasonable to you and me, but he already has a guarentee from Showtime. He has a March 28 date with them. Whatever the money the promised him, it is clear he thinks he can get an opponent that lets him keep what he feels he deserves.

 

Basically taylor's been ducking him for 6 mths or more it went to purse bids july last year but **** all came of it, taylor chose to fight lacy who was an empty shell of any talent he used to posess, thats how jean pascal got the fight

basically froch aint pussying in the slightest, he's said he'll fight in the US.
Taylor dont say **** and gets his promoter to spout bs for him, like froch has demanded this and that taylor should get more cash etc. which actually means taylor wants no part of froch
