Have Boxing fathers ever been normal? :huh

Most of them are taskmasters who robbed their kids of a normal childhood. Tons of examples of this.

I see your point, but there is a line.

I came to watch to watch their son box, not some old man trying to act tough.

Jack Mosely was camera hungry, but he didn't act like he was an ass kicker.
    And he never embarrassed Shane

bradley/broner....neither father knows **** about boxing

garcia's dad is a solid trainer despite the **** talk.

so is floyd sr. he's probably the best of all the dads.

When you see this stuff on 24/7 and social media sites just remember they are trying to sell a fight. When Guerrero's dad is acting like an ass he's doing it because he knows it will result in more PPV buys which = more money/new fans/more exposure for his son.

Also you need to consider that on these 24/7 or ALL ACCESS series, they follow these guys around for one week and edit the footage down to 30 minutes. So that leaves about 15 minutes to each fighter. Think about it, if you acted like a complete douche for 2 minutes a day and were a saint for the rest of it, they could make the viewers think that you are a complete POS. With that much time and that amount of editing you can control everyone.

the fathers never get in the way of the fights. did tim not go to war in his last fight or garcia. tim and danny pops were the hearts on there sleeves. and you can tell they unconditional love for there boys. i think there just fine the way the are. not every boxing dad is that way but the ones that are should not be crucified for it. the world is a big place not everyone walks, acts or talk the same thank god. so i like the variety of personalities of some of these guys. to each is own i guess.
