What's up with TOMMY MORRISON?

The last I heard, he was fighting only in Wyoming.
I can't imagine he'd be sanctioned anywhere else. Maybe not even in Texas.

 

It's certainly been a fall from grace for Tommy. He kind of reminds me of Mickey Rourke's character in "The Wrestler" at this point.

 

the less the better. he is HIV positive and even if he says he isnt and he proves he isnt he is on the bad side of 30 with already dodgy chin and out of shape. his last fight with that castle guy was regarded as a set up. so bad that the TV network didnt want to show it.

Hes 40 something..his last fight was against Corey something and it was not an official boxing match...Muay Thai something...last time I checked wikpedia it said that Morrison received a bad check from that fight...the man cant even get paid

I agree though that I hope he never fights again...

Well, he was a a steroids enhanced toughman who lost to a brain damaged figther and nearly lost to Ross Purity and Joe Hipp who caught HIV and did time in jail and tried to come back by figthing a couple of fraud fights agaisnt one-eyed hell angles or something.

 

almost 41!!! i knew he retired early. i just guessed he was 37 or somthing.....doesnt seem much between the ages but in boxing...


yeah forgot to mention that castle bit. it was a pride like mma fight that you couldnt use knees legs elbows or grapples.....hmmmn

 

The sequence between 5:25 and 5:55 should be required viewing. :rofl

 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was his last professional outing.
I don't know what they told him going in for a "title bout," but I'm sure that isn't what he imagined. I didn't know about the check bouncing! That really really sucks; Wyoming and overseas are all he can do now and even they're shafting him hard.

The commentators, lack of judges, lack of rules, lack of knowledge of said non-rules, referee, announcer, fire code violations, the belt that defies acronyms, skankiest card girls ever, timekeeper out on a smoke break or something, blah, blah, blah... there's a fine line between absoludicrously hilarious and jaw-dropping epically sad.

That said... the "Timberrrrrrr!" knockout there should be snuck into every Morrison highlights tape in existence.

 

last i saw him, he was fighting for a paper belt...and if you saw the last fight...it was made of paper literally....construction paper...and the guy he knocked out was the promoter...because after the fight he got up and rambled for ten minutes about the **** card he just put on.....

 

dude his chest looks wierd, like he is injecting that sythol oil into it or something. Pretty much breast implants. look when he raises his arms.
