I posted about 2 years before the hatton v Pacqauio fight that if it ever happened Hatton would be way to big and strong and that even the thought of it was redicolous. Lol. red face test epic fail.

    Calzaghe Vs Lacy.

Lacy came over here 21-0 with a massive reputation and was an odds on favourite with the bookies.

I watched Lacy destroy Robin Reid and thought (like quite a few others) that Joe would get the same sort of treatment but it was a complete masterclass, never had i see such a one sided 12 round beating of a favourite like that... I can only apologise to Joe Calzaghe for doubting him.

Not destroy, but I had him winning by TKO too.

I'm surprised still nobody came up with the July 2nd, 2011 fight here.

I had big money on Maidana to KO Khan, it was close but not close enough. Great fight though.

Same for Oscar De La Hoya vs Mayweather, i though Hoya would get the win HA.

i think this is my biggest one too. there will be plenty of others, having a think about them,

but i do remember thinking Calzaghe would be hammered, even though i wanted him to win

  13. Mine was probably Margarito vs Mosley.

My favourite ''almost right'' was Khan KO1 Maidana. After watching Maidana vs Ortiz a few times in the lead up I felt Khan would jump on the Argie and get rid of him.

Wasn't all that far off, Maidana did well to get up off that body shot.

Another I nearly got right was Sprott vs Harrison 2, I had Michael winning on points.

I can't say I predicted Marquez to outpoint Pac but I knew JMM would extend him.... little did I know how much. I was devastated when the decision was announced.

I had a tenner on Maidana TKO10 @40/1 would of been my most satisfactory ''nearly''

Pac Marquez 3, was worried for JMM going into this fight and was shocked and gutted for him, even woke Vano up at 6 in the morning for a shoulder to cry on

  15. Wow.... that one probably ought to have been stopped too, Khan was barely surviving.

I ordered Pac vs Marquez and decided quite early on to go to bed and catch it in the morning, avoiding the net, Sky News, everything, including my phone.

Dan might have had the same idea because late morning I had a text saying ''Hmm... haha''

To be honest I was more gutted when Pac ''lost'' to Bradley, because Marquez deserved that W, Bradley didn't.

I missed Froch vs Bute too, then got up the next morning to a ''Carl Froch is a ****ing boss'' text, ignored it thinking it was a bit of pre-fight banter, then checked the result and was surprised to see Froch TKO5.
