Taylor isn't the greatest fighter ever but he is not a fraud. He has fought big names, and fighters who are very good: Hopkins twice, Wright, Spinks, and Pavlik twice. If he was a fraud 1) He would have taken an easier path after beating Hopkins 2) Most importantly, he would not have rematched Pavlik so soon after the brutal KTFO. A fraud would not have jumped back into the fire with Pavlik so quickly after the first fight experience.

It started on boxing sites, when it was being said that Taylor was better then Oscar and Tito. There for awhile there were tons of threads about Taylor vs Oscar....Taylor vs Tito....Many fans felt that Taylor would blast the two...And of course Tito and Oscar dont have fans they have worshippers..so it was WAR...Then once Taylor beat Hopkins and then drew with Wright it was the Tito and Oscar fans that just couldnt stand it anymore.

Here is something you can do if your bored...Follow the guys that spew the most hate at Taylor...Go search and find all thier posts...I bet that 3 or 4 of them are either a fan of Oscar or tito, and the other one is a fan of Hopkins:yep

Ill never understand the hate that Jermain gets. I mean the dude fought most of the best available guys out. . .Hops twice, Winky (Winky priced himself out of a rematch) and Pavlik. Sure he lost to Pav, but he stepped up and acted like a champion is supposed to.

Ive noticed alot of black boxing fans dont like Jermain. . . I guess because they dont think he acts "black enough" . . . with him listening to country music and such. . . plus he always says "yes sir" "No sir" . . .some see that as a "sellout".

That's dumb. He's a good kid. He had to fight for everything he's got. He is a family man, a man you can look up to. Damned right he's respectful! I cannot stand me to see that gangsta ****.

The guy that suddenly feels he can compete at MW now that Taylor and Miranda have moved up and Arum has indicated the time table for Pavlik to move up? Why doesn't Mr. Elite stay at SMW and prove his salt? If he can make weight now, he could have made weight before. Not afraid of Kessler is he? Shitting, oh I mean vacating his belt? :| Seems Mundine isn't as confident as you are of his abilities.

If and when Kessler grows big enough balls to fight JT, Jermain will win a close but clear decision, and we will all see how good he really is. Maybe Hermit can loan the robo-dane his squirrel:hey

Taylor is a fraud because he was overhyped by his HBO backers, and given gift decisions in fights he lost.

jermain is not a fraud, he may get more publicity than most but I think because he is a quality human being, he deserves that publicity

Andrade is not in the realm of Taylor and Pavilk, they beat good opponents. Andrade got dominated when he challenged for a title because he doesn't have the skills to adapt, he's truly one dimensional and just tries to walk through his opponents even if he gets hurt. I see Kessler and Pavlik on about an equal level. Who's better will only be settled if they fought each other and I see good arguments for either one winning the fight.
