    Are people that crazy?

Yes, it was a real knockdown, he was dropped on the seat of his pants and he was DEFINITELY hurt, knees do NOT lie.

He got up and did a great job, knocked out Linares in the 10th.

Loma dropped for the first time in his career tonight, definitely looked vulnerable tonight. He took some vicious combos as well.

Of course he did, he fought one of the best fighters in the world... none of the combos hurt him though. Linares fought the fight of his life and still lost convincingly. Fair play to him, he boxed beautifully as well, showed good footwork, predictions and speed.

Those combos didn't look like it had some real effects, I agree but he was 100% hurt when he got dropped. Like I said, knees do NOT lie.

Lost convincingly for sure, Loma put on a stellar performance.

However, people need to stop being delusional, he was dropped and hurt. 100%.

He was dropped but not hurt... he got up right away and there was no sign of lack of balance.

That was NOT a balance knockdown, you could see his body language and his knees.

It doesn't lie man, years of watching boxing tells you that.

Your delusional if you think he was hurt, it's called a flash knockdown, stunned for about 2 seconds .

Hurt fighters don't have spring in there step and don't pop right back up...

    Real knockdown, for sure.

I look at this like Calzaghe-Hopkins or Calzaghe-Mitchell. A guy (Calzaghe) with super belief in his ability and chin who has little regard for getting hit (not overly concerned with defense when he wants to go on offense).

He was not hurt, though. So there is the weakness of getting dropped, but also the confidence to know he wasn't hurt and he can recover and get the stoppage win (as Calzaghe did with Mitchell).

He was hurt, but he powered through it well and got to the corner.

Recovered well but the knockdown took something out of him, look how safe he boxed for the rest of the round. He was still trying to recuperate.

You might be right. I thought he was fine, but maybe he was a bit dinged.

Calzaghe was buzzed against Mitchell if I recall right. And the Hopkins knockdown also shook him up a slight bit.

I don't think Lomachenko has a chin issue. But he has to be careful not to get too reckless against big punchers. It only takes one punch to change things.

It was like Ward vs Kovalev. Ward got straight up but he was hurt you could just tell.

Popping up instantly doesn't mean anything imo.

He certainly has to stop being overconfident, this showed that he can be knocked down, but he has sublime skills.

Of course it was a real KD. Loma felt it but if you watched his eyes as he was hit and even going down they were trained on Linares. What was really hurt was his ego. Wisely he stayed away from Linares for the remainder of the round and worked his way back into it in the next round.

I thought Linares fought a great fight. I don't, however, agree with the judges' scoring. I had Loma up 87-84.

Fair enough, I don't score live but from what I saw, Loma was leading a by 2-4. Gonna have to do a real score.

    He did great, he's #1-2 p4p

Agree. This should not have happened and only happened because he got overconfident. Also, he would not have gone down if he was not stepping into it. He was hit just as he was stepping forward.

    He was dropped, not hurt
