    I agree..............

Joe Calzaghe hurt his hands demolishing Lacy..

I think the suggestion of Euro fighters being weak or pulling out of fights very lame.

Mike Tyson pulled out a whole bunch of fights in the 90's..

    Tyson v Holyfield 1... injury?
Tyson Holyfield 2 ... so caled cut eye.??
Tyson v Mathis so called thumb injury..
Tyson v Stewart.. original date put back because of injury..
Tyson v Bruno 1 called off and moved from London to USA..

    I could go on....

I didn't know Mike was from Poland or Croatia..

    Good post.

I think overall there is a line between an injury that can't be worked with, and one that can. I still feel that no boxer really ever enters a ring 100%. If they do it's rare. There are so many things physically and mentally that may make for an off night. But a great boxer fights through off nights. That's what makes for consistency.

Back injuries as we all know can be a multitude of things and varying degrees of pain. It is the one place you can claim hurt and nobody can really dispute how much pain you are in. Same with the neck. A broken hand is something I'd totally excuse for a boxer as it's what you use, its your main tool in your profession. Back injuries however I remain very skeptical about.

What on earth are you on about?
    Lennox Lewis: British
    Danny Williams: British
    Matt Skelton: British
    Audley Harrison: British
    Michael Sprott: British

These fighters are British. Born in Britain. They are not imported, and do not have passports from "half way across the world". They have British passports. If you want to post such stuff, do a bit of research first.

Frank Bruno was born in London.....
Henry Akinwande was actually born in Nigeria..
Lennox was from born in Jamaica , and raised since a kid in London then moved to Canada.
Herbie Hide was from Norwich England , his father was Nigerian..
    Scott Welch was from Brighton.
Gary Mason was born in London.

Evander Holyfield was from Nigerian parentage , named Iman Cooley..
    John Ruiz was from Rico..
    Kirk Johnson was from Canada.
Alex Stewart was born in London

USA have as many based or claimed fighters that were born in other countries..

Britain has a lot of foreign parented fighters but were actually raised or born in the UK..

    Its a very lame issue..

What's the deal with heavyweights where you come from? Wherever that might be, I don't think you have the right to slag off the british scene.

Really , James Toney makes it to fights? Not recently, Toney hurt himself and was out for a long time when he was scheduled to Mccline as well.

Yeah, Toney is making it to fights real well with two consecutive steroid suspensions, nitwit.!
