It doesn't matter what you want to buy. If you cannot see with your own eyes, or maybe yo ujust haven't see much of Hatton, then there's really nothing anyone can say to convince you. I guess the idea that some fighters are only effective to a certain weight is alien to some posters here.

So what? THat's Tyson with a comepletely different body type and structure.

I guess the excuse is that Collazo exposed Hatton as a weak 147-pounder, and Floyd KO'd him?

I'm saying the height has nothing to do with it, so the Hatton is only '56 stuff is bollocks. Besides, 5'7 Cotto is doing just fine at welter.

Which other fighters are only effective to a certain weight? Please name some. Which top fighters have lost so much by moving up 1 division. Please name some.

I've seen plenty of Hatton and it seems to me he was just never as good as most people thought, I felt that all along and am sticking by that.

But Im not trying to discredit Floyd in any way because he himself is a former SF who's fighting way above his natural weight.

Floyd isn't a real welterweight too so his victory over hatton is legit IMO. It was a very good win.

    Do you feel the same?

Is this all you know to post now Eze? Is that all you can focus on Eze? A fighters height? :patsch

I guess Kingslet Ikeke, Paul Williams, and anyone else 6'1" or above should easily make the move to HW right genius? Hell, Chicoi should have moves to WW YEARS ago right? He was tall enough after all. Remember when you asked me about you and when you've made stupid posts?

You are either comepletelty clueless on fighters and how different body types don't all move up successfully, or you are just saying **** to argue with Hatton fans. Either way, you have no point.

Floyd today is a legit WW. He is NOT a natural 130 (as many still say today) just because that's where he started. And just because there are bigger WW's doesn't make him a natural 130 either. Anyway, if he was a natural 130er, why were so many of his fights OVER 130 before he made an official run for the 135 title? That's not a question for you, just throwing that our there.

What excuse? The fact is his style as a 140 pounder is ineffective at 147 because he's too short and not strong enough.

That was plainly apparent in both his fights at 147.

He is monstrously strong for a 140 lber - He's a bit small at 147.

There's no excuse required when you compare his 140 lbs career with his 147 one.

Of course, because sarcasm is so easy to detect in its written form.

    Anyway, you've made that same post like 10 times...change the record...it's broken.

Not really, it all depends on who was available at the time. But certianly, from looking at the WW division, Hatton is NOT a WW top contender, which I would prefer he fight since Floyd's pocketbook has no baring on who I want him to fight. I can give two shits if Floyd needs to make 20 mill a ofight just to get him in the ring.

I agree for the most part but I never said that he's a natural superfeatherweight. 130 is where he started but he's more like a natural junior welterweight IMHO. He might be a little taller than hatton but he's not the bigger man overall. :good

Hatton has never been any good at 147, looked like crap last time he fought at that weight.
