You say it like it's a bad thing. The whole fighting until I die thing is entertaining, heroic and very admirable but overall not very smart. Let the kid go home back to his family and come back to have more meaningful fights instead of gambling his whole career on one single fight. A fighter can show tons of heart and still know when to call it a day.

They finally are getting smart enough to preserve a few braincells in hopeless situations.

Demarco had a pretty good chin. I don't doubt he could have taken it the distance.

Zaryu, when you are from mexico, quitting is unaceptable, you saw Gutierrez fight, he fought like a mexican, he was tired but didnt stop, when you grow up in mexico, the first thing you learn on the streets is if someone is gonna beat you, they cant go clean

Like I said, that is admirable and whoever pulls it off gets my outmost respect for bravery, but certainly not for smarts. Everything changes with time and like many things, I think this is for the better. Mexico produces great fighters, and I'd like to see a lot more of them in many quality fights not just one.

demarco was taking a lot of punches, from a guy that is known as a super hard puncher, i was actually surprised demarco didnt go down(i also think demarco got mentally beaten up by valero, he couldnt find an answer for anything valero did to him)

I dont think he was hurt from the punches because his face was almost clean, gutierrez face was all swollen, I think demarco just didnt have an answer for the volume of punches, he wanted to fight a technical fight, just like barrera vs pacquiao
