what's with the rubbish about a premature stoppage???

Haven't you heard? On ESB, if the guy you wanted to win gets stopped, unless he was stretched for a ten count the stoppage is premature

Agreed. I wanted Taylor to win, but if anything the fight could very easily have been stopped a little earlier.
But we must remember that Jim Gray was the only one beating this horse to death, and this guy is clueless about boxing.

 

Taylor was one punch away from being knocked out anyway.

When the ref pulled Froch away Jermain just collapsed.

Had the ref not stepped in it wouldn't have even lasted those last 14 seconds.

Was he the guy doing the post fight interviews? That guy seemed to be trying to get Taylor to complain about the stoppage, Taylor behaved with class and was having none of it.

 

Didn't see the interview, but in all the threads I've gone over this aft, not one person complained about the stoppage. Not even a single Taylor fan!

I thought the ref explained himself very well in the interview as well.

 

Nothing premature about last nights stoppage, I mean **** the first knock down you can see in Taylors eyes he was gone, yet he fought to come back to the real world and did, he got to his feet and tried again but failed, good stoppage probably a bit too late IMO, they should have stopped it when he got up the first time.

no way was it early yeh the interviewers a clown tryna boy off froch bout go through the knockdown u luked like u was gone etc wen froch was no where near gone it as a flash kd i like da way froch cant help but slip in the black swagger an an words whilst talkin wiv da lip pouts an facial expressions as e chats taylor took 3/4 shots at the end he didnt need to so id say seconds late but nuffink more nuffink less an the ref counted ultra slow e tryed to help taylor wiv da freebee as he got to 9 but was really more an 11 count
