what's with the rubbish about a premature stoppage???

Frankly I havnt seen anyone try and claim it wasnt a good stoppage here. A few people that hadnt seen it asked if it was and the answer was unanimous last time I looked.

In any case he was down for 12 or 13 seconds before the stoppage.

 

Definately needed to be stopped, I mean fights have been allowed to carry on with fatal consequences so the ref i believe did the right thing.

 

The ref got it right. The last thing anyone wants is a fighter seriously injured. These guys have familys to go home to which mean alot more to them than a boxing match.

I was rooting for Taylor and I thought it was stopped a few punches too late. Taylor took some brutal shots to the head.

That was more the interviewer trying to make an issue out of nothing IMO.

 

don't be a spaz 90% of posts on this topic are that it was a good stoppage.

 

Outside of that total,complete idiot Jim Gray,this is the first that I've heard that the stoppage was premature.I feel the referee did a fine job and stopped the fight at the correct time.I also believe that the ref explained himself perfectly in the post fight interview.Please everyone out there.DO NOT take that ejit Gray seriously.Please.He knows nothing.How he still has a job,I just don't get it.
