Whats with the threads where the fighters full names are listed?

    They putting middle names, mothers maiden names. The latinos who got 6 names. The threads are like antonio Martin hidalgo Sanchez marino santana the 3rd vs miguel juan pablo garcia vega jr. Why do so many people on here make threads like that lol i c them all over here.

    Santos saul "canelo" alvarez barragan vs floyd joy mayweather jr etc.

    Canelo vs floyd and if its a garcia fighting add the first name so we know which one u talkin about and thats it lol

    I always get Tyson Luke Fury and Tyson Gaylord Fury mixed up. Without those middle names I'd be completely confused who was fighting who.

    Ehhh not really but no real problem with it lol i just finally made an account after countless years of lurking this site without ever posting and decided to make that 1 of my first posts because i thought maybe there was like an insider thing about it in the community

    @IntentionalButt started the tradition many years ago.

    Back then the general forum was an absolute cesspit of boxing discussion and IB wanted the rbrs to be above the usual trolling and flame wars so he began using full correct names, and it just kinda stuck with those who've done the threads since then.

    It can be frustrating if you're searching for discussion threads on a fighter because you now have to search the usual name, the nickname and the full name lol.

    But it is what it is and I don't think it's going anywhere tbh.

    I guess its better than "clenelo" i cant stand reading that. PEDs dont affect legacy imo. Whoever your favorite fighter is i would bet my left nut he is on a bunch of drugs youve probably never heard of because if u think clenbuterol does anything for performance u probably dont know anything about PEDs anyways. Im a canelo fan but not a canelo nut hugger. Hes def p4p in the upper echelon but man he needs to fight either charlo, andrade, benavidez or a top LHW and if he can win those fights legitimately hes arguably the p4p best
