yer, its funny because there's not an exact rule as it effects different fighters in different ways. however if a fighter is schooled for 12 rounds unless theres no way to go for the winner or some other strange circumstance there ain't gonna be a rematch. whereas a 1 round KO people immedietly ask for a rematch to see if it was a fluke or not

i've come to the conclusion that in general a 12 round schooling/beating is worse

That is SOOOOOOO true and it really makes sense:

I used to wonder why Jeff Lacy, Diego Corales and Tito Trinidad NEVER really barked to get rematches despite getting their "0" taken.....

Then I realized even though they were undefeated, p4pers yadayadayada, they were'nt competitive and didn't really deserve rematches, despite their stature in the sport.

A 12 round schooling can hurt you worse than a first round KO but they both are bad

would you say a 1 Round KO is more worse in the casual fans eye (low attention span, lust for a KO) and a 12 schooling is worse in the eye of the more understanding officianado as the die-hards are looking at the overall

A 12 round schooling can hurt your career longevity while recovery is better generally with less punches taken.
