The sanctioning bodies have been the bane of boxing fans world world for the last seven years or so. E.g., creating multiple champions in each weight class, in a sport that has too many weight classes to begin with. WE WANT UNIFICATION! I almost puked when they tried to legitimize Antonio Tarvers IBO title (LOL!!!) as a legitimate title fight!!!!!!!!!!

Because of the corrupt sanctioning bodies, I see more fighters following PBF and ODLH lead..Great fighters once they have reached a certain level of recognition, floating in and out of weight classes cherry picking fights destroying any sense of who the real chapions are. Even worse, only fighting once a year in a mega fight.

What's worse for boxing. Corrupt sanctioning bodies. Not allowing us to celebrate the one and true champion per weight class..

    or

Cherry picking champions who hold up multiple divisions?

I agree regarding the sanctioning booties, but weight classes should not always stop a fight from happening. Catchweight fights, and small guys going for bigger titles is an ancient tradition in boxing.

both...holding one of those titles allows you to duck the other champions..because the other champs wont be your mandatory nor will you be theirs..

and you can kiss the unification dream good bye because its no way the sanctioning bodies are going to want to share that money..
