You got it all wrong Popkins, thats definetly not what i meant. Im sure Pacquaio would fight Marquez now. However, Arum seems to not have any interest in that fight, not too mention the fact that JMM is with Golden Boy, which makes the fight closer to impossible.

I didnt mean to dsirespect you're hero, calm down, jeez

I very much wish Pac-JMM III was happening instead of the Mosley fight.

I don't understand Arum's position in all this. Surely Marquez brings the Latino PPV muscle to the table, which Mosley doesn't?

I dont want to see a third JMM-Pac fight TBH. I strongly believe 135 is Marquez' ceiling weight, and fighting Pacquiao at any weight above that would be suicide. The perfect time for that fight to of happened was immediatly after their 2nd fight IMO.

According to everything I've read JMM asked for 6m plus PPV and Pacquaio's on around 15m plus PPVs. Mosley probably offered to take a smaller cut

I would've thought Marquez brings bigger PPV pulling power though, do you agree or disagree with that?

I would say the fact Marquez is with Golden Boy prevents Arum for wanting this. And wasnt the Pac camp saying that a fight with Marquez wouldn't sell that much? Or was that just a rumor?

Yep, and what probably would have been the best 24/7 yet to build up this bout, with an already great selling point. And if the rest of the promotion went well...could have brought in over 1 million PPV buys, easily in my opinion.

Whereas, Mosley v Pacquiao will barely reach 1 million in my opinion...and even then, Pacquiao will be the one bringing the majority of the buys and watches.

The only reason Mayweather Mosley did well was because of Mayweather, people wanting to see him win/lose...and the fact that people thought Mosley could genuinely beat Mayweather. Mosley v Pacquiao hasn't got that angle, and if you also add on the fact that Mosley has never done well when it comes to PPV...

I didn't hear that rumour myself. Maybe though. I think it would sell better than Pac-Mosley, but that's just my opinion.

I too am quite certain that it would sell more than Pac-Mosley.

Berto ... Berto? WTF has Berto done to deserve, most believed he would get destroyed by Mosley when they were scheduled to fight.

JMM ... At 135 this is a good fight but Manny has outgrown his old opponent, at 145, JMM can't compete
Bradley/Alexander winner ... come on, this is a good match-up for Amir Khan. Pacquiao is too much for both these guys.

So what other options does he have other than this ****** Floyd. If Mayweather doesn't come to the party, Manny would be as well to retire.

my wishlist for pac's last 3 fights (I except nothing more than 3) are: Mosley, Berto, Mayweather. mosley brings the name too the table, berto is the best young up n comer in the division and mayweather is mayweatehr.

What did Margarito or Clottey do to deserve a shot? Clottey has come up short in every meaningful fight he was put in and Margarito beat Cotto with bricks and got his ass handed to him by Mosley without his bricks. At least Berto is a legitimate champion. In case you didn't notice, his challenge against Cotto was completely ignored. So it's kind of obvious that Top Rank considers him a real threat. True or False?
