From what I heard, (could be wrong though) is that he has a 2 fight deal with Showtime. He can fight Hopkins next and then Kovalev. It'd be the same route, but switched order and more money

That would be cool, then, if that's the case. We'd see some great fights.

I'd love to see more divisions do unification-type tournaments to see who is the top champ.

definitely, I'm actually bored with seeing guys always rushing up in weight too quickly. Like with Mikey Garcia thinking about going to 135. I'd love to see him fight Uchiyama if Gamboa can't be made.
Mendez and Barthemely need to work their stuff out though and I think Muira is fighting Mares still

:desk Am I actually reading this flotsam?

Some of you have to be the most obtuse ****ers on the face of the Earth. Triping over yourelves to defend Stevenson. I am sure he is real gratefull. Perhaps you can set him up with your sisters.

HBO wanted to make Kovalev Vs. Stevenson as their big fight, Stevenson knew that so he went with Showtime to avoid fighting Kovalev. Hopkins said he would never fight Kovalev or Stevenson, by the way. Ward refused to fight Stevenson, even at 168................but Ward is tied up again in court, so he might not be fighting for a long time...........

The brothas trying to defend another brotha. Sorry but this ain't about race or money. It's about a blatant duck and I'm sorry but if anyone can't see this, you're either blinded or an idiot. This is about as blatant a duck as we've seen in the last decade.

Perhaps you guys are a tad more optimistic than I am. I've seen nothing to indicate that Stevenson is even willing to fight Kovalev. Quite the contrary. I hope it happens at some point, as it is a truly electrifying fight - and we don't get those all that often anymore.

I don't think Shumenov offers either guy much in the way of resistance. Just my opinion.
