I'll bet you $100 right now that Hopkins will never fight Kovalev.

Before Hopkins recently started saying **** like "I'll beat Kovalev easier than I beat Pavlik", he was quoted as to saying "wow, this guy (Kovalev) is good!" .. On his twitter.
Now he calls him a bum. That means he has no intention of fighting Kovalev.

Please. I'll take a non-biased source over any promoter's words. It's like Coca Cola saying Coke is great for people's teeth and health. Yeah, I'm gonna believe that.

Stevenson didn't want to fight Kovalev. It's just that simple.

I am not sure many people are saying that. We all know he is doing it for the money. 99% of us want the Kov fight but it is not the only fight. This is business and Show is putting the boots to HBO. Not only did they take away the face of boxing the foiled the biggest match-up they had lined up. HBO could have had the fights they wanted if they matched shows offer but they refused . . . HBO loss. Kov also lost out on his meal ticket . . . I have faith in Kov that he will get all the riches he really wants but it just doesn't seem like it will go via a fight with stevenson

there is no defending . . . he got more money to fight on Show than HBO . . . are you telling me that you would do the same?

I hope so ... and I dont want his legacy to be "he never really fought anyone". I want him to succeed and be an ATG. Yes, of course he has to win fights, but I know he'll do that.
