I honestly think that all of that trash talking leading up to the fight actually worked. I know it's hard to believe that Milkdud can get inside a guy's head but Woods is the type of guy who is very unassuming and maybe he took it all in. Tarver said stuff like, "When he gets in the ring with me, he will fight the best fighter he has ever faced, bar none". And maybe he bought into that. Let's not forget, Tarver is the guy that owned Roy Jones, the guy who was the dominant LHW for most of Woods' era and who also get brutally beaten down by RJJ.

 

And by the wasy the fight gone Tarver was talking the truth and Woods was just bullshitting

 

And still he defeated Woods

 

You really are dellusional! Tarver outclassed him. Period. Look, I can't stand Antonio Tarver and I was rooting for Woods, but when Tarver is motivated, the man can fight.

Tarver is a much better fighter technically than Woods.
