Hey my boxing world I want to have a real convo with my boxing family so lets leave your personal feelings towards floyd Mayweather to the side whether you're a fan, hater, dick rider or casual fan.

As a man who grew up poor, not Pacman or third world poor but poor. I worked every job you could think of, fast food, janitorial, anything you think of from industrial to blue collar i have done it at one point of my life. One thing I remember about 99 percent of my co-workers is that we all worked for the money, and if a paycheck came let we would raise hell at the job site.

I know what you're thinking well floyd has the best job in the world and has fans that depend on him and allow him to have great things, but I can see how to Floyd boxing is a job, to floyd boxing was a job carried down from his father to him, know different then the boy that doesn't go to college to help his father run the family business.

So why is it ok for us at ESB to work for money? If you look closely you could say your fans are are the consumers or customers that you provide a service to, if not for them you couldn't have nice things as well, but the day you feel your job wasn't paying you enough you would get the hell out cause every man know his worth, but would you keep working for your fans (consumers/customers) or would you tell your job " **** you pay me"

If you feel that Floyd situation is different, and you live in the free world or country that is not for communism, remember you to can try your hand in boxing or any other sport so you can work for great fans, unless you are one of those guys who have the balls to play sports, why is ok for you to work for money and not floyd.

Me myself I work for money, I never gave a **** about my job (postal service) or company trips, luncheons, or whatever else they try to pull to keep the fake as family vibe in the work place, I just say "**** you pay me"

If Floyd or any other boxer wants to fight for money I'm willing to pay to see the sweet science that they perform.

What are your views and do you think the mentality has to do with how Poor inner city kids where raised, watching pimps and drug dealers and scam artist drive the nicest cars and pull the baddest women and flash money?

Weigh In I respect everybody's opinion

    :huh

Nobody here has a problem with Floyd fighting for money. They just wish he could take a better approach in making fights happen. Nothing to do with money

There's nothing wrong with fighting for money. That reason was good enough for the consensus greatest of all-time in Sugar Ray Robinson.

Fighting overmatched opponents, that's something that is shitty for the fans. Since it's Mayweather fighting Mosley, no one should complain. It's one of the best matchups that can be made in the sport.

Fighting Mosley is really the first time Floyd put his nuts on the table.

It sure doesn't. Look at a warrior like Hearns people talk about him all day long but at the end of the day did any boxing fans stop his house from going into forclousure? Have they ever paid his medical bills? Of course not people can ***** and moan but in the end the money a fighter makes during his career is all he has to fall back on not praises from fans about what a warrior he was. There's no 401 K retirement in boxing.:deal

If a commision is going to let him fight I can see him wanting to fight but on a morral ground he shouldn't be allowed to fight anywhere. Nor should anyone caught trying to do what he did.

I actually hope and pray that the mayweathers will be able to keep their wealth and be able to pass it on to their kids.

Boxing is brutal entertainment and the fighters are the ones who deserve to bring home the purse.... And not the scumbags around them (promoters, team members, free-riders).

All fighters fight for money. Floyd is just a ***** who uses anyone and everyone to get more of it.

He used to swear by the WBC saying he was loyal to them, that's the belt to have, but now he says belts gather dust blah blah.

He used HBO to get big, then called them racist and retired.

He used big names to become a big name with his selection of opponents after he re-invented himself to a twat who throws fake cash to crowds and all the rest of it.

If he wants to fight for money he is doing a good job of it. If he wants a legacy (which he clearly says he don't care about having) he should lay off the TRUE greats of the sport and stop comparing himself to them, let alone saying he is better.

I compare Floyd to RJJ, the most talented athlete in the sport. Why would anyone fight against a man who is equal in size, power and ability, and take a chance of getting put too sleep? MONEY!
I think the fight tomorrow night is going to be a sleeper, I don't think that floyd is going to take any chances. he's gonna do everything he can to avoid mixing it up with Shane, I'm afraid were gonna see another Leonard/Haglar robbery

I can understand fighting for money at an earlier point in his career, but at this point he's in NO danger of "needing to feed his kids". He has SO MUCH ****ING MONEY. It's just greedy at this point to make that the focus of his life.

If he wants to say he's better than Robinson or Ali he should be focusing on his legacy, which he clearly could give a **** about.
