that's his resume right there in red and he only beat quartey by a tiny margin and he got lucky in the trinidad fight in that it was controversial so he chose to not fight again and just go to his grave claiming he won instead of fighting tito and eliminating all doubt.. he knew he couldnt win a rematch against tito because he couldnt put that running **** twice and get away with it

Well I had Quartey winning on my card, DLH did too little in most of the fight, but that's irrelevant in regards to his resume. We're talking about who he fought, not who he beat and who deserved the decisions (you could start a whole thread just on controversial DLH decisions alone). He fought a lot of excellent opposition. Undefeated versions of Mayweather, Quartey, Trinidad, and Mosley. Hopkins in his 19th title defense. Still formidable, if declined, versions of Whitaker & Vargas. Whitaker was lineal at 147 and Chavez at 140. Ruelas when he was a consensus top 3 lightweight. Hernandez when he was arguably the top 130 lb. fighter moving up.

The list of top fighters in recent years who faced better opposition than DLH is very short.

The wide hatred of him has little to do with his opposition. It's the way he presents himself, people think he's phony. He smiles and says all the boring PC things. Or Mexican fans who hold the Chavez fights against him.
