MMMMMM:think Something seems amiss in team Mayweather. Either his hands are ****ed or he's rattled. There is a different look in the eyes of Floyd AND Roger last couple of days. Also on Inside Sport (BBC) Buncie was trying to track down PBF and he was being more than a little elusive. Buncie reckons that the Mayweathers have finally realised that they have underestimated Hatton and doing some last minute, desperate homework on him...I dont know about that, bad hands seem more likley. But I definatley sense a wain in confidence from Floyd. Anyone else notice it?? Or is it just wishful thinking?? Or a master stroke from the Mayweathers??? Well?
You wear a tinfoil hat? Just kidding dude. I can't speculate, I hope both are 100 percent, that way no excuses.
Maybe hes angry at being outsmarted by Hatton at press conferences and being made fun of> Maybe he's angry and extremley determined in training that he doesn't want to be bothered? Maybe hes so angry hes going to lay down a world of hurt onto Hatton come the 8th?
If I believed everything I've seen on 24/7 and read in various articles, I'd say that Floyd is having some sort of mini-breakdown. Talk of retirement, talk of 'breaking down' physically, comparing Hatton to Gatti and Baldomir, even the constant flow of shite coming out of Rogers mouth. You'd get the impression that Floyd needs to see a therapist about all of his personal problems and thinks that he merely has to walk into the ring to beat Ricky. It's just a shame that I don't believe everything I see on television.
You ruined a hot body with Floyd's ugly mug.:rofl:rofl Floyd's confidence is high and it should be. :smoke:smoke
No, that's true. I was more reading into his demenour rather than the way journalsist put a slant on things. For example the way he and Roger mocked the way Hatton does padwork, obviously a retaliation to Hatton doing the same in the previous episode. I think that indicates Hatton is under PBF's skin. Floyd likes to get under his opponents skin but I think the opposite has happened. Floyd is in unknown waters this time (I hope)
If Floyd and his team have taken Hatton lightly, or have only just realised the heat Hatton is going to bring, then they are in deep trouble. If Floyd is to win, he must have prepared perfectly, and then fight a brilliant fight. Anything less will see him lose
I actually got the same feeling watching the padwork too. I'm waiting to see what Floyd does in retaliation to Rickys comments during his medicine ball training. Problem being, that Ricky's humour is part of his natural personality, wheras Floyd needs 20 yes-men to tell him how hilarious he is being. So yeah, I think Hatton is stealing his thunder in terms of popularity - and I think that DOES bother Floyd. A bit off-topic, but I do wonder how he'll react to the reception he'll get in Vegas. I believe that in terms of skill, he is levels above Ricky, but psychologically he has a lot to overcome. I truly believe that British fight fans are pretty skilled at affecting foreign fighters, psychologically - and that shouldn't be under-estimated.
Yeah, it was more or less exactly that. I mean, just mocking one of Floyds speeches, and it was pretty funny imo.
Yeah grandiose exagerations are often a sign of an inferiority complex. I had given him the benefit of the doubt concerning his self-confessed gangster adolescence but now he claims that he's been advizing Calzaghe, and that he is entirely promoting himself and that only Ricky is entirely promoted by GBP. Arn't they both copromoted by GBP?
