I really don't see what all the fuss is about. The "fight" is merely a sparring session for Wlad. Chisora will get knocked out even if he wears head gear. Wlad knows this, Manny knows this, the whole world knows this. The problem is, Haye knows this as well. Chisora is a fight that would be a tough one for Haye, but even David knows that Wlad will just be trying out new decapitation formulas.
I suspect Wlad is only fighting Chisora to take away a potential domestic opponent from Haye. Chisora is too inexperienced to be fighting Wlad at point in his career.
It was fine when it was on for last December and just a bit of extra practice for Wlad to finish of the year. Now it's become one of his more than likely 2 fights this year it seems pretty weak. Problem is there aren't alot of decent heavys out there so this is what you get.
Even British fans don't believe that. Chisora is a novice and has no business being in the ring with Wlad. As I've said in other threads, even the British press can't be bothered to hype Chisora which is unheard of for a world title fight. Rendall Monroe had all kinds of media interest and he had little chance of winning in Japan. Dereck has ZERO chance which is why it's so infuriating that Wlad would put a fight with him before a unification bout with Haye.
how the f*ck is it ok for the no 1 heavyweight disgrace the sport and disrespect the fans for doing less than a sparring match and charging people for it/putting that out there for people to have to watch. if the German people have to buy klitschkos on PPV,they just wouldnt, not with how bad they are too watch and people like briggs and chisora as thier opponents!.my godd thats bad opposition!.
I hope Chisora gets lucky and Knocks Wlads arse on the canvas, that would be the best thing that could happen in heavyweight boxing at the moment, then Wlad can go back on the golf course for a few more holes.
He couldnt get lucky twice that would be asking to much, but if he did then big brother Vitali would get a shot. Do you think these rematch clauses are fair?
I'm sick of hearing that Wlad took this fight to 'take away an opponent from Haye'. That is just something people who aren't from Great Britain/hate Haye say. Audley Harrison is a well known name in the UK, almost every casual fan knows him and there are even non boxing fans who know him. The Harrison fight was a money fight. Wladimir may be taking this fight to raise his name in the UK (by having a fight on Sky) but I dought Haye ever considerd fighting Chisora and even if he wanted to all he'd have to do is wait for Chisora to have a few wins after the Klitschko fight. A fight with Fury would be much better option for Haye anyway. I don't know why he's taken this fight but I hate seeing established champs take on people who have had less than 20 fights. It can ruin a fighter before their prime and even over the hill fighters are usually better than fighters this inexpierienced. Chisora seems like a horrible bloke though so I'm not botherd if he takes a beating.
1. Chisora is undefeated. 2. The original Chisora fight was cancelled and people were talking **** about how Wlad was avoiding Derek. 3. Chisora talked some **** about Wlad & Emanuel, calling Wlad's trainer an Uncle Tom for training white fighters............ 4. It takes away one of Haye's domestic possible matchups. Anything that hurts Haye & forces him to fight the Kltschkos is good for the sport. 5. It hopefully gets some interest in England which may help generate interest in the eventual Wlad vs. Haye showdown. 6. I personally want to see Wlad wreck this douche bag.
I moreso mean why is haye upset. he says 3 months isnt enough time for wlad to have between fights. but i contend this chisora fight is nothing more than a sparring session for wlad. is haye going to ask wlad to stop sparring within 5 months of their scheduled match cuz he might get hurt?
