Foreman didn't fight any good 80's heavyweights, except Alex Stewart and should of loss that fight. And 38yr. old Holmes wasn't even the most talented heavyweight he fought at this time, I can think 3 others that were better than him and he doesn't credit for it. You wanna talk about overated, Lewis era was overated, he didn't beat anybody great. He got knocked out twice by 2 journeymen and he should loss 2 of his big fights to Mercer and Vitiali which is probably the best fighters he fought.

    Old Foreman is v.underated IMO.

Old Foreman who gave PEAK Holyfield a proper mint BRUTAL WAR was a ****ing H2H beast IMO. A 257lb TANK.

Hoylfield was not only physically stronger when Tyson got him but he was a more techniqally sound fighter. And Foreman got his ass whipped in that fight. And Holyfield was a lot more preserved when he fought Tyson, if you honestly think He was more washed up than Mike when they fought, than your half ******ed.

:patsch Oh dear... who did Tyson beat that could have in your words have been 'great'?

Lewis lost to McCall and avenged it. It got sloppy against Rahman in the first fight, fighting at a career highest weight having spent all training camp filming Oceans 11 rather than training and turned up thousands of feet above sea level just days before the fight without acclimatising to the altitude... he then laid Rahman out like a star fish in 4 rounds in the rematch. The Mercer fight wasn't even close... it was competative but not close. I gave Mercer rounds 1 and 3 and you could argue he won round 2 as well but Lewis clearly won every round after the 4th (this fight is clear in my mind as i only watched it last week on ESPN classic and even the American commentators had it 7-3 rounds for Lewis) Against Vitali he was 38 years old, highest weight of his career, clearly flabby and slow and still won a legitimate stoppage win against a fighter that today is still one of the best in the division.... Tyson fanboys do make me laugh.
And don't say you're not a Tyson fanboy because this is the second thread of yours i have seen today regarding Tysons greatness

This is a prime Tyson. Look at his head movement and overall skills, there's a big difference. This Tyson would demolish Foreman. Foreman's slow ass wouldn't even land punch on him, it would look just like the Trinidad/Mayorga fight and make Foreman his human punching bag

Rahman is ****ing bum. Tyson worst 80's heavyweight was better than him.

  7. the holyfield 90-91 who faced old foreman was x 4 better than the version 96-97 who faced tyson. foreman in his 40s fought 12 rounds against a prime holyfield, past prime evander destroyed tyson twice... tyson in his 30s was destroyed by bums like mcbride and danny williams, and knocked out by a past prime lewis.

Lewis beat Old Holyfeild And Old Tyson.

Holyfield beat Prime Tyson X2, Old Foreman And Prime Bowe.

Tyson beat mega-****ing-shot Holmes And tiny, blown-up light-heavy Stinks, who never did proof anything at Heavyweight [except 2 wins VS Shot Holmes And a win VS Gerry Cooney]. :rofl:rofl:rofl

This was not even close to the Tyson of the 80's and you can clearly see it. And Tyson was humna walking corpse by the time Lewis got him. Mcbride and Williams? Yeah your definetly not worth talking to if you believe those 2 bums would last a round with Tyson in his hey day. And post prison demolishes both of nthem 2, including Lewis.

Oh and BTW, a young Lewis loss to Tyrell Biggs for the gold medal, but you'll probably say biggs was bum too because Tyson beat him.

  10. the version of holmes 88 is the most pathetic version of larry holmes,he did nothing during 2 years, he was better in 1992.

Your a ****ing dumb ass if you honestly believe Tysaon was in his prime when Holyfield fought him. The 2nd fight was the close Tyson came to his fighting prime, he was a 7 from a 1-10 scale and he was beating Holyfield easy before he bit him which was a retalition move from the headbutting Holyfield was doing. Holyfield didn't take body shots well and you can see that in his losses and the first fight with Tyson when he got hurt with a body shot. Tyson was a good body puncher in his prime, he would beat Holyfield with body punching.

Top Ten in my heavyweight list, fairly would rank in the top 100 p4p list, imo. He was thoroughly dominant. At the time they only took under account the WBA, WBC, IBF and "linear", he got status as the champion in every instance and had to do it separately. And they were clear if not crushing wins every time. He defended several times even though he had the style built for young men. He was very durable, one of the fastest, one of the strongest and a well-oiled machine in terms of skill. His resume isn't great but it's better than any HW champ we have now, not to slam them. This guy was an exceptional specimen and had a very worthy career.

  13. the amateur fights does not prove nothing... lewis did beat biggs as professional, and yes, he was an average boxer or bum

Then again, Foreman's Hook is always right about Tyson and Foreman and you can forget what was said by whoever hacked my account and commented a second ago under my name.

He beat Biggs when he washed up and the same with Tucker, Tucker came off 2 yr. retiremnet and was a damn drugged the **** by than and he still gave Lewis a GOOD FIGHT. He definetly didn't fight when they were good. And I'm not no Tyson fanboy, I said Mike didn't have longevity, I just don't agree with your assesments on his ability as a fighter.
