Mine is a tie between Larry Holmes vs Sonny Liston and Holmes vs Lennox Lewis. Larry with the exception of Shavers and Ali, had a habit of making things personal. Even against no hopers like Scott Ledoux, who Holmes called a racist, he liked to **** people off. But what I would give to see Holmes shooting his mouth off against dagerous opponents like Liston or Lewis. Could you imagine the prefight hype if Holmes told Liston or Lewis, "i'm gonna bend your ass over and slap my dik on your back!" Who are some other graet heavyweight grudge matchups?
Holmes had many great rivalries with Norton, Shavers, Ali, Berbick, Snipes, Spinks, and Cooney. Obviously some were more long-lasting than others.
